United States | 21 November 2015Order 0-Scope, D.C. PS, Solder station and some leads using the website. Very soon after got a message indicating the order was in process. Four(4) days elapse, no change in order status on web, or communication, send e-mail inquiry in the AM. Next afternoon, no change no response, so I call and learn: 1 - One item was out of stock, oops just came in. 2 - Transferred to some manager because Tektronix REQUIRES the collection of customer information regarding what the product will be used for. 1 - None of the processing and communication that occurred during this transaction even vaguely resembles their stated processing and communication standards. 2 - If this demographic information is REQUIRED, why is nothing said about it PRE-purchase, or even time of purchase? 3 - Why NO response to a customer order inquiry made per the instructions and links provided on the website? footnote: I understand that sometimes it just doesn't work for inexplicable reasons, however ... Realizing I actually needed a better function generator for my intended project, I called and placed an order for one. Was told it would get right out, drop shipped from mfg. Today, three(3) days later I got an an e-mail with attached invoice, including tracking number. The tracking number provided on the second order, is the tracking number for the first order .... and even though the e-mail says I can view the order online, it does not show up in my list of orders (and the order that was delivered STILL shows as ... processing ...)
