United States | 08 March 2021You dont get what is pictured/advertised! Ordered a red Rigid tool box as pictured on their website. Nothing in the listing said anything about color variation. Box I received was a dark charcoal box, not red. The last contact I had with TED, I asked them to reach out to Rigid to see if Rigid would send me a red one and a return label. I never heard back from them!

Test Equipment Depot was to provide return information which I never received. Do not purchase from this seller. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE! I will be contacting the FTC and the BBB as well to reclaim my $500.00.

United States | 26 October 2019On August 30, 2019 I ordered a MasterCool 27 piece Radiator Test Kit, Part number 43301. When I placed the order there was no indication there would be a delay. A few days later I got an email saying it was backordered and would take up to a month. Three weeks later it arrived just before weather turned unseasonably cold with night time lows in the single digits. I did not get outside to use the test kit for a little more than two weeks. Upon using it I found it was faulty and would not hold pressure. I contacted Test Equipment Depot on a Saturday and left a message about wanting to return the kit for a refund. They called me back on Monday. No answer. They called me back on Tuesday and referred me to Master Cool for warranty. Mastercool warranty indicated I had to pay shipping for the return. I called Test Equipment and they said since I had a RMA from Mastercool I should return it to them. I called again. This time they said I was outside of their 30 day return policy. I was at work at the time. When I got home I found all my communication. I had reported the problem 22 days after the item arrived, which is well within 30 days. I called Test Equipment Depot again. They ignored that I had requested the return within the 30 days and said I should work through Mastercool to get a refund. That seemed odd. I called Mastercool who seemed very concerned about the defects I had found in their product. When I mentioned a refund through Mastercool he seemed a bit surprised (I don't blame him) since I didn't purchase it direct from Mastercool. I do NOT recommend ordering anything from Test Equipment Depot. Their ratings on this site average really high. Do their employees post good reviews in their spare time to ensure a high rating? Just saying...

United States | 03 January 2019These guys here. I typically refrain from reviewing companies online but this company "test equipment depot" is well deserving of a 0 star rating. Waited near 5 months for my tools that they said was on back order from yellow jacket. They try and lay blame on yellow jacket, who seems to have no issue getting other tools to distributors all around me, but for some reason cannot get a couple of common tools to them. A micron gauge I bought failed not even a week after receiving it, contacted them and they said they would handle it and get another shipped out. 3 months later it's the same old bs story about yellow jacket. I cancelled my other order and don't expect this POS company to come through with my warranty gauge. Do yourselves a favor and stay away from test equipment depot.

United States | 26 October 2018At the end of the day, I have to take responsibility for selling and drop-shipping to a fraudster. But despite my recalling the shipment prior to delivery, they and FedEx made the delivery and left me hanging. They kept their margin, along with FedEx. As far as I'm concerned they are complicit as long as they keep the profit on what they know and knew to be a fraudulent transaction. And it is obvious that this is part of their business model in how they handled the situation. How many websites dedicated web pages to fraud? But again, I'm the one that placed the order and the one that got suckered. Test Equipment Depot is just the conduit, albeit a complicit one. Be careful!

United States | 05 October 2017I ordered a Sauermann SI-30-230V Condensate Pump w/Detection, and it arrived quickly and price was on par with others. How ever, I ordered the part for a just in case scenario for my mini split ac system and come to find out I didn't actually need it. The problem is that this company is the only one to decide if i can return it or not and ONLY under their circumstances. This includes a getting a return notice with an MRA return number, a 15% restocking fee and shipping the item back paid for by me for an unopened/ unused product. NOT a very friendly company that is geared toward the customer. My advice is to use Amazon or anyone else that isn't greedy and problematic with returns. I gave two stars for the delivery. Service and returns gets 0 stars. Follow up- Who pays for my shipping to return it? So you are telling me that it cost you $12.75 to ship it to me and you want this back to be able to resell it at the same price. So now you get your money back and nothing lost, but I have to i will be up a creek for your $12.75 and another $12.75 (a total of $26) to ship it back to you? So tell me again why I should use Test Equipment Depot in the future?

United States | 01 August 2017Ordered a set of test leads on 7-20. No response or contact so I called on 7-27 and was informed they were on back-order and would ship the next day. That did not happen! Finally on the 30th I heard from them.They entered my credit card # and it was declined.I use a feature that allows me to use a different cc# for each online purchase.After 10 days of non activity my card company auto suspends that number. Guess they shot themselves in the foot on that one. Would never order again!

United States | 03 February 2017I purchased an Aven 26700-302 digital microscope, advertised as 9Mp big heavy stand, clumsy at best poorly built microscope and software that would not discover the microscope on windows alternative software produced images at 1744 x 1308so the 9Mp was some sort of interpolation. I called test equipment depot, the supposedly manager of customer service said she would call me back and never did. next I emailed and got the argument that it was a 9Mp camera in the scope. back and forth over several weeks, I finally get an RMA, no shipping label so I have to pay shipping, and they charged me a restocking fee. so this company spends 3 phone calls, 6 emails to cheat a customer out of < 40$, what will they do if you buy some expensive equipment?

I have been waiting all day for 2 days now and as soon as I leave fed ex shows up and leaves a missed you note. When I try to schedule a time with fed ex or pick up from depot fed ex wants me to open an account and leave a credit card number for billing !!!! ALL I WANT IS MY PACKAGE !!!!!
