I bought Sandy the seagull dog toy for Betty a mild mannered Golden Retriever based on the reviews. I was trusting the product to give value for money and be purposely designed for a dogs toy. Unfortunately the fabric U-Binding that outlines the figure and joins the two half’s is too weak and failed in ten minutes of gentle play. There was No tugging or aggressive play, just being gently chewed to make it squeak. There is obviously no functional quality control or product testing or due diligence. Also on receipt of the toy, it was only then realised the feature detailing of the wing, eye, beak is only on one side, so when the toy is flipped over, it is just a white nothing. This is a disappointing toy which is poorly manufactured and inappropriate for use, which is heavily marketed.
