The belt drive is quiet and the set up wasn't impossible but the range of the opener is poor. The last opener was a SEARS and we had three times the range. Not happy with this. Also the company setting is strong and when I'm not quite in the belt jumps.

One of the rollers on my never-maintained garage door failed, causing damage to the carriage on the opener. I ordered a new carriage in the evening and they shipped the next day. Replacing the part took about an hour. I had fixed the door the previous day, so everything is working again.

The Genie Aladin App need improvements. It doesn't support Homekit and status update is not always up to date.

Genie makes garage openers too well. The three which I installed well over 20 years ago, keep going and going. However their accessories do not. An outdoor key pad hasn't worked for a while, no big deal. However one of the remotes did fail and I was unable to find one on the Genie website or a generic one anywhere. I called Genie in the States from Canada. A Genie rep quickly indicated even though it was a different Genie remote model, it would work for me. I ordered it and some time later it arrived and now I once again are able to remotely operate my Genie. Thanks folks..........

Product was shipped very carefully. Processing time could have been improved though. I'm not sure whether it was related to the holidays.
