United Kingdom | 27 April 2009I bought computer bits worth over £1000 and ordering them wasent a problem got goods the next day, After about 4 months the harddrive went down. So i rang them up and they told me to send the harddrive back which I did and got a replacement within 5 days.These guys have been great and very helpful. I would recommend them to anyone as they know what they doing and know what aftersales is all about. I will always buy from advance tec as they are very reliable and have the latest uptodate goods in stock.

United Kingdom | 25 April 2009I ordered and received a PSU from them which was faulty. I RMAd it 1st class to them on 25/03/09 and it was 17/04/09 before the carrier received it for return. After unsatisfactory treatment and reactions to my complaints I asked for the name and address of the senior management and was told I would have to look for them at companies house. I still have not got the goods by the way the carrier is as bad as them.

United Kingdom | 23 April 2009Ordered PC components for £1000, 4 days later they send me an email and say that some components are not in stock and they are offering me some other (cheaper) components in exchange. Obviously I refuse and ask for refund, but they say that they can't do that as it's not company policy. Instead I had to buy something I didn't really want. After 3 more days, they finally send me an email saying that the payment has been cleared and I should receive the goods within 5 working days... 2 months later, a fan in my graphics card stops spinning, so I call them, the line is always engaged and after calling at different times of day and even different days, always the same person picks up the phone. How many staff do they have? I had to RMA my graphics card, which cost me 10 pounds when it wasn't my fault at all... I will never buy from them again. Total waste of money, time and nerves...

He took me through the process of ordering and as one of the components i needed was out of stock he advised me on a different product which worked equally as well. Highly rated and would advise anyone wanting to purchase pc components to give advance tec the first port of call.

United Kingdom | 12 April 2009I purchased a computer from AdvanceTec and when i recived it it seemed to have suffered some damage (probably on it's way to me) and would not display anything on my screen, i contacted there Tech guys who said that they would run through a couple of things with me and if they didnt work that they would have the computer picked up, although i was not happy about recieveing a computer that did not work i cant fault there service, the guy i spoke to stayed on the line with me for some time walking me through things and evan called me back the next day to make sure everything was ok.

United Kingdom | 25 March 2009Advancetec supplied me with goods that i did not order. They accepted this and said i could return for a refund. That was on 27/2/09 and so far despite many emails they have not replied or refunded my money. NOT GOOD ENOUGH.

United Kingdom | 02 March 2009I ordered a new HDD a couple of days ago it came 2 days later and worked perfectly, And because the one i wanted wasn't in stock they made it up by giving me the same HDD but with double capacity. My laptop works perfectly now, I really recommend you buy from this shop.; Thanks a lot for the great customer service.

Presently suprised i got my stock next day. Easy to work with and definately on the ball. Highly recommend.

United Kingdom | 28 February 2009I bought a ATI radion X2 graphics card from advance tec back in october 2008 come january the card had started to make a funny noise and over heat quite alot. I got in touch with the tech guys at advance tec who where very helpful as they gave me an RMA number to send the goods back to them, within 4 days i had received a brand new card from them. I would rate this company to any one as there customer service and technical support was very good.

United Kingdom | 26 November 2008I tried to order £400 worth of PC components from Advancetec, the first time I sent an order through the payment site declined the order and placed a £400 shadow on my debit card meaning for a week £400 was allocated to a failed purchase. I called the card payment service that Advacetec use (Protx) and they said they could only remove the shadow if Advancetec contacted them and asked them to. I called Advanctec, customer services seemed to have no real idea what I was talking about and apparently just told me what I wanted to hear as the shadow didn't clear and I had to wait a week for it to clear by itself. After a week I then tried to reorder this time via phone as I didn’t trust the payment service they are using. Again I just got the impression the sales guy was going through the motions and when I asked for a email confirmation he told me that I’d get one 'sometime today' not really good enough. After 3 hours and no email I went to Scan.co.uk and got the same parts for only a few pounds more, my order was processed immediately and shipped next day for less than what Advancetec charge for 2-3 days. All in all it if Advancetec want to give the impression they don't care then why should customers care to buy products from them?
