Everyone I’ve had contact with at Chartwell funding have been amazing. Nothing is to much trouble they go above and beyond to help you and answer and questions. James Ford their protection advisor has been so helpful in getting us our life insurance policy’s and income protection. He made sure we understood the policy’s and searched for the best prices. He was alway on hand to answer our questions. For our mortgage Shaun was fantastic he always kept me updated and would supply everything quickly. Once star took over she has been nothing short of amazing from keeping me updated about our mortgage offer to chasing our solicitors for us and then quickly sorting out a mortgage extension within a day as the new build has been delayed. Tristan, Harry and Josh were amazing! We are first time buyers so had no idea what we were doing, Tristan took the time to go through everything, without judgement and made us feel really at ease. I used Chartwell for my first mortgage back in 2017 and have worked with Rob at each renewal since. The service has been great and it always feels effortless getting it sorted. I wanted to review my life and critical illness cover and was put in touch with Jordan. He took the time to listen to my circumstances and what I felt I needed and then put a plan in place. He was receptive to making changes as we went along and it felt like nothing was too much trouble. Everything was clearly explained and it is very evident he has experience and industry knowledge. I can't express how excellent, reassuring and thorough the team were in arranging my somewhat tricky mortgage. Having been told by another advisor the mortgage would not be doable. Duncan and Joshua were able to arrange my mortgage incredibly quickly and really took there time to go through my options with me. I first got in contact with Chris over a year ago to get an agreement in principle, he was extremely helpful, as a first time buyer I did not have a clue what I was doing but he made it very easy for me to understand. June 2023 I was in contact with him against to get another agreement in principle as I now had a bigger deposit and again he delivered! Any questions I needed answering he was there, no questions asked! Right through to completion in november he was checking in to make sure I was alright and to see if I needed anything. An amazing experience from start to finish. After being let down by a previous application who said we would be unable to get a bridging loan based on criteria, Matt assured me that he could sort something.
