Chartwell did a great job arranging the remortgage of my property and adding my fiancee to our mortgage. It was a smooth and efficient process that was well handled by the Chartwell team. These guys arranged my mortgage previously and I'll continue to use them for my mortgage and insurance needs.

The whole process if getting my mortage was with the help of Chartwell was fantastic, i have bad credit and didnt think i would be able to get a mortage, and Chris at Charterll managed to sort us out a brilliant deal with one of the major high street. Chartwell all ways remained in contact with us throughout the whole process and gave regular updates, and if for whatever reason they couldnt make an appointment, the rang in advance to inform us which was brilliant. In our quest to purchase the dream home that we’d stumbled across (we hadn’t planned it), it became clear we might have to ‘buy’ before we sold our house. A friend recommended we speak with Matt at Chartwell, and I spoke to a couple of others also. Matt immediately inspired confidence - he could sum up the options and give you sensible insight as to the pros and cons of each (others were more ponderous and less clear). He was professional, and attentive without being ‘in your face’. We were lucky not to need the money in the end, but it was crucial to have it as a backstop. As is probably obvious, I always felt we were in good hands.

I've used Chartwell funding on multiple occasions and have always been impressed. This is primarily down to my experience with Matt and Andy - they are very knowledgeable, really good at what they do and I implicitly trust them. If I could give 6 stars I would, Chartwell are by far the best mortgage brokers I have ever come across. We deal with a lot of property purchases and I just wish I had found Chartwell sooner; they make navigating the market so much easier and they know their mortgages and lenders inside out. I'll try to keep it brief but it's difficult when there is so many good things to say. We have used Chartwell Funding a couple of times as our circumstances had proved tricky for other mortgage advisors, but not Chartwell. They have always made us feel at ease about our situation and they have tackled every hurdle thrown at them (and believe me there were many this time around). But despite our difficult situation, we were never made to feel that it was an issue or that problems couldn't be overcome. We felt safe in their hands and in these trying times, during a pandemic and being self employed in an industry hard hit by the pandemic, their positivity, confidence, knowledge and expertise were very reassuring. Thank you Simon and Keris for all your help getting us over the line. Some Mortgage providers can take a while to process applications. However, with Keris, who was our Case Manager, we were kept informed at every stage. Keris was helpful, responded very quickly when we had a query and went over and above so many times. Needless to say, the mortgage offer came through and we completed on time, and I can honestly say, without Chartwell and Keris, that would not have been possible. We will be forever grateful.
