Abundance enables me to invest directly in socially useful, productive enterprises, rather than putting my money in a fund where it simply chases other money around. The service provides me with full information about the projects and the expected returns. The web-site is quite easy to use. Transactions are promptly acknowledged by e-mail. My e-mail enquiries are promptly answered. I should like to receive a printed certificate as proof of the debentures bought, rather than just having it recorded on the system. I realise that debentures can change ownership; still, there is no substitute for having proof of ownership on paper.

So far so good ! I have made some early investments and they have gone well. I have not yet had to remove any funding but as I say what we have experienced so far has been very good. I particularly like the ability to use my ISA allowances.

Reliable, friendly both Tom and Robert have been very patient with me and helped me due to my lack of computer skills. Being an older investor its good to know that I have pressed the right button!!! I have not been investing with Abundance for very long. When I emailed about something I was not understanding I received a very rapid and clear reply. Otherwise, investing with Abundance has been straightforward. Presumably payments will be made on the promised dates: so far I have only been entitled to one payment.

Abundance is the future of 'community energy' and a fantastic platform to help finance renewable energy investments. People should be encourage to use the platform as a means of ethical investments. The platform is easy to use and very simple. It's only limitation is the sometimes limited opportunities to invest. However, as renewables become more mainstream, this will surely address itself.
