Excellent projects and very easy to invest online. Just hope it all works out ok although I have no reason to doubt the investment.

I like many aspects of Abumdance but the recent deal flow has been too slow. I moved some ISA money in and was happy to get the 2% but I now have a big chunk sitting there earning nothing and I have invested as much as I am happy with in the curent two, high risk imho loams. I will be moving the money out when I can find another home for it.

An attractive and informative investment opportunity. A range of high risk, high return green options, well explained and easy to access. A model others might follow?

Easy and simple to use. Clear. Curious that, once logged in, you cannot see upcoming projects

Tricky review depending on who's reading it - N.B. this is not financial advice. We'll see how good the companies on offer are in between 10 and 20 years. Having said that (CYA) then the information provided, the choice of schemes to invest in, and the ease of the interface are all very good. So once you've decided to go with Abundance then it's 5 stars; it's just that reading TrustPilot's defintions of 4 and 5 meant I was being a bit cautious.

Abundance is a great idea and seems to work well but I'm not sure there are sufficient investment opportunities behind it right now. Currently it is difficult to diversify your investment with the limited availability of new investment vehicles and the competition to obtain existing investments through the Abundance 'marketplace'. The website is clean and easy to use and the investments on offer (debentures and bonds) offer an opportunity to diversify from other parts of the portfolio. It is difficult to weigh-up the risks of these investments over such long time periods and limited visibility into how the principle will be repaid (without resorting to further rounds of refinancing via bonds, equity, or debentures). Nevertheless it is nice to invest in a real project that is hopefully doing some good for the world.

An excellent opportunity to help fund renewable energy while potentially receiving higher returns than are normally available to private individuals with limited resources. I have given 4 rather than 5 stars because I have not been invested for long enough to see how it actually turns out

Great platform and works very well. It's currently impossible to move investments from their standard portfolio too and the new ISA platform. This is a pain.

Great opportunities. Easy to use and 2% interest while you wait for opportunities.

I came across Abundance when I was trying to buy the Atlantis Bond issue and the usual platforms didn't deal with it. I found it easy to register with Abundance and easy to purchase the bond. It was a pleasant surprise to find there were no fees paid by the customer, unlike most other platforms. I then took a look at the rest of the site and decided to try out investing in some of the existing issues that were being resold in the marketplace. I have been doing this for 2 weeks and have successfully purchased one. That transaction went smoothly. So far I would suggest that the platform could be improved in two ways. The first is that it would be more efficient if the marketplace took you back to the investment that you were looking at rather than taking you to the beginning each time. The second is that it would be helpful to be e mailed if you are outbid so that you could decide if you wished to bid higher. Overall I have found it interesting and will invest some more here because of the nature of the projects.

A platform to invest in green energy and environmentally friendly projects. Website details advice to read and decide for yourself if it's appropriate for you. Easy to invest and withdraw online.

I wish to invest in renewable energy and carbon fuel abatement. I have found 'Abundance' extremely useful for such investment, especially community projects. Their web site is superb and easy to navigate. As one's dividends etc accumulate, one can re-invest or have the money paid to one's bank account. Thoroughly recommended.

Investing in new projects is simple, well documented and a real opportunity to invest in viable projects with social as well as business objectives. I have found the staff to be very helpful in resolving queries and explaining processes. Buying debentures in existing projects can be frustrating and time consuming as the market is in its infancy and flooded with low value sales.

The two offerings made so far were not direct renewable energy investments. They were financing for companies in the renewable energy business: Green deal finance - funding to relaunch financing business. Tidal stream - funding to pay off pre-existing debt. I would have not have invested in these, if there had been better choices. The marketplace is to difficult to use and is very time consuming. Lack of automation and insufficient summary information are big issues.
