Our case was handled very efficiently. We were told clearly what mitigation statements etc to provide3 and were kept informed of the courts' deadlines. When there were changes in venue of court for hearing, the firm was able to adapt and find someone to cover a different court at short notice. The team were dedicated, including weekend work to stay up to date.

I usually don't give reviews, but I must in this instance. I have worked twice with Farzana Chowdhury of Hodge Jones & Allen, and the service was seamless and remarkable; the first was back in 2017-2019 and 2022-2023. She knows her stuff, very calm, and she's highly experienced. Working with Farzana and her team, particularly Hester Cowley, encouraged me that the Council would be held responsible for their lack of care to undertake repair works on my property. The first case was back in 2017 until it was settled in 2019; the current disrepair issues revolved around dampness, mould, major leaks, and significant damages to my property, a repeat of the previous problems wherein the respondent, a local authority, abused my rights and did not undertake disrepair works at my property until the issues deteriorated, that I approached HJA to handle the case once again. Farzana again took up the case and worked effortlessly, settling it as the Council realised that should the case proceed to court as Farzana had raised the claim, it would have exposed their inefficient services, bringing their image into severe disrepute. Disrepair works will commence tomorrow, 24th August 2023; the Council, on top of settling the case, will, in addition to the settlement, pay for my legal fees, thanks to Farzana and her team, who worked tirelessly and ensured success in my latest claim. I highly recommend Hodge Jones & Allen and would always use their services; they are friendly and customer-driven.
