I made a personal injury claim in 2017 whereby I was hit by a car from behind and liability had been accepted. I found out recently that I have been misled by my claim handler for over 2 years. As a settlement had not been reached with the insurance firm of driver, my case was to be sent to court over 2 years back. I recently learnt that my claim handler has left the firm and my case was never either shared with the insurance firm or even sent to the court. First the partner just tried to brush it under the carpet sending me an email that nothing more can be done. When I raised my dissatisfaction, they are trying to speculate my claim to a lower amount and make me a much lower settlement than my actual claim value. PLEASE PLEASE avoid at all cost.
