Hodge jones & Allen had my case for 4 years regarding disrepair in my home which involves damp, mold, asbestos, cracks and leaks my case was finalised in Jan 2024 with an outcome I was unsatisfied with and no closure. My home is still in disrepair and I have suffered emotional distress and physical illness because of the poor conditions of my home. Despite sharing my concerns about unfair treatment from my landlord and my health declining this was however disregarded even when I asked if someone else could represent that area, my last conversation with Suzanne Bird was left with her telling me that after speaking with their Barrister my case had no value and my landlord are allowed to breach! There was no further communication my home has since worsened and was labelled unfit for human habitation by HJ&A surveyor. I really wish I had read reviews before choosing this firm which was recommended to me.

I have had two criminal cases with HJA this year and the first one was NFA'D within 4-5 weeks and the second one has now also been NFA'D after a long investigation by the police lasting five months. HJA have assisted me in avoiding a crown court trial in this case and I am now going to seek assistance with the firm in launching a civil action against the police and the alleged victims.
