This will be a negative review, Hodge Jones & Allen were approached by me on a public law matter, however the query was reviewed by a partner and deemed to be acceptable to proceed to see if a solicitor had capacity, but left me waiting several weeks for an outcome. A complaint was made to HJA and they apologised for their error which is good. A decision on whether a case should be accepted should take days and not weeks, especially when the client is willing to pay privately.

I contacted Hodge, Jones and Allen when the time had come to make my will. I have known of the firm for many years and knew they were respected. I was very satisfied with the Service I received. Sarah immediately put me at ease. She was kind, competent and professional. She explained everything carefully in accessible language. Also understood and responded to my questions. The overall experience reduced the inevitable stress and anxiety of making a Will. One suggestion would be to have some specific advice about where you are situated on N Gower Street, eg opposite the entrance to Tolmers Square or similar maybe in the appt confirmation letter. Despite having the post code and my phone, perhaps because I was anxious, I had some difficulty finding you on my first visit.
