Ireland | 03 February 2024I am a customer in Money Jar. However, the customer service is the worst around the world. I got a transaction that I didn’t do. I did the dispute in order to receive my refund. But, I waited the answer for Money Jar during 3 months and 15 days, and they only said to me that I need to do the refund with the merchant, because they cannot do it Cero proactive. I DONT recommend Money Jar

Ireland | 02 February 2024I believe MoneyJar to be an elaborate financial scam exploiting pitfalls of our legal system to rob ordinary customers. They promote themselves as a user-friendly, easy to setup and trustworthy Irish banking app. However, my recent experience has proven the exact opposite! My monthly salary failed to be deposited into my account, and upon reaching out to their support team, I was informed that my account had been suspended without any prior notice. Moreover, they were unable to provide a valid reason for this suspension. To make matters worse, I am currently unable to withdraw the funds that I had already deposited! Upon further inquiry, they directed me to contact their financial provider. After doing so, I was informed that the issue was due to 'unsatisfactory documentation'. This is perplexing because a month prior, the MoneyJar app had requested me to update my passport details twice, which I complied with both times immediately as instructed. I even received a confirmation notification, which I have screenshot evidence of, stating that everything was in order. This leads me to believe that there was a failure on MoneyJar's part in communicating the updated information to their financial provider. I have filed a complaint via FSPO, however given the gravity of the situation, where access to personal funds is unjustly restricted, I think it is imperative for us, as customers, to unite and consider a class action lawsuit against MoneyJar. Their practices are unacceptable and must be challenged.

It turns out that MoneyJar was stolen by someone else's money...

Ireland | 23 January 2024Account blocked still with money, and my salary that never arrived! I received a physical card at home and tried to unlock it, I couldn't and gave up, then I realized that I could no longer make payments with the card, they even blocked what was registered in my Apple Pay, minutes later my entire account was blocked, my salary never arrived and the company confirms the transfer. Customer Service takes hours to respond and always with robotic responses that don't get anywhere. I have money in the account and I can't access it and the salary I received I want it to be returned or that I can receive it and immediately take it out of this garbage bank! There is no decent help, they simply block the account and do not say anything, just email asking for documents and vouchers, but they never help or give a satisfaction about the case!

After 4 days of chatting with customer support which takes forever to answer, I have received news that my account is blocked permanently. Even though I have provided all documentation, they simply wrote sorry. I am currently in the other country without access to my money, I can't get a hotel, food. I didn't take much cash with me, because I was trusting this bank İf there were humans working in this company I hope they would actually look into the matter. People rely on the banks, they give them their honestly earned money. There is simply no way to be more angry and hopeless as I am now. I lost all my money and I am not even home Avoid this bank

Ireland | 18 January 2024bank completely uncommitted to its customers, deposits often take a long time to reach the account and I've had a problem with the bank disappearing with the money and informing that there is no specific deadline for the investigation

Luxembourg | 18 December 2023I wasnt getting anywhere with traditional banks - having just arrived in the country I didnt have a proof of address in my name etc, and I was in risk of not getting paid. No Bank Account also meant no utilities - Gas, Electricity! Money Jar account opening was seemless. I had my IBAN in a matter of minutes. Utility providers accepted it no problem and set up my direct debits allowing me to settle in.

Switzerland | 18 November 2023Multiple issues with MoneyJar: Edit: after complaining here on trust pilot I was only then contacted more regularly by customer support but my problem was never fixed. I was also asked by them to improve my trust pilot score which shocked me. Transactions not appearing until many weeks later and then only when contacting customer services who told me to continue waiting and that my account would be refreshed when the team got to it. Debit card hasn't worked numerous times when trying to make small purchases (despite having funds of thousands in the account). Customer Service copy and pastes the same responses in the chat on and on and even ignored my request to explain how to make an official complaint, despite asking 3 times in the same one chat. Template emails keep getting sent without the fields filled in. It doesn't sound pretty and it's really not.
