Great support while on lessons and passed first time. Dan was a great instructor and would recommend to anyone who wants to book an intensive course with confidence.

I had Steve as my instructor and I couldn’t have had a better driving instructor. He was beyond helpful by sending me numerous links to help with my theory test along side my practical test. He made the lessons fun and we had a laugh where we could and he was amazing at getting me to understand how and where I went wrong.

Lessons with Steve have been exceptional really couldn't have found a better instructor. His patience and support gave Cian the confidence he needed to pass, really cant recommend him enough!! Five stars all the way.

I've recently just pass my test with the help of BDS and I couldn't be more happier, Shane McKenna taught me everything I needed to know to help me pass my test, he was very respectful and helpful and I would highly recommend anyone who is looking for an instructor to go with BDS.

I can't thank Paul Tilling enough for helping me pass my driving test! He's incredibly supportive and honest, always making jokes to put you at ease. Paul talks you through everything step by step, and if you ever feel anxious, he's there to help you through it. He even understands when you need some mental space to deal with personal problems. Honestly paul most the time was like my therapist I would get in and just get all my problems out to him and he would just listen, I think he knows everything about my life now🤣Paul kept me productive and always helped me with anything I struggled with. Now, he's taking me to learn on the motorway so I can drive to university in Manchester. Anyone would be so lucky to have a driving instructor like Paul!

I have nothing but good to say about Steve Waterhouse as a driving instructor. He helped calm my nerves and help me regain my confidence to be able to pass my test.

Dave Topley is a great instructor and lovely guy. He helped me to build my confidence on the road, especially on roundabouts. This resulted in a first time pass that I am very happy with. Thanks to BDS and Dave Topley!

I recently passed my driving test second time and i can’t thank Dave topley enough for helping me do so. He was very patient with me, very encouraging always telling me I can do when I believed i couldn’t, always had faith in me and very thorough throughout my lessons. I definitely recommend him!! PAUL TILLING- Wow, I wouldn’t even know where to start. A massive thank you to Paul Tilling. He is a massive credit to this driving school. I could not recommend him enough. He has so much patience and stuck by me for my whole driving journey. He was so reassuring. I truly believe I wouldn’t have been able to pass my test without his support! Most importantly he has taught me life long skills by teaching me how to drive! From starting off down the prom and down the 20 roads, to helping me complete my biggest fears (roundabouts) he is truley amazing. Thank you for putting up with all the tears! All your hard work paid off and you helped me achieve a pass today!

Total waste of time , only discovered they are unable to carry out driving lessons. I had to contact them no one bothered to tell me despite waiting months for a space. Absolutely a disgrace don’t waste your time with excuses. This is a reply to your comment – your attempt to justify a complete let down. Firstly A negative review is what you write when someone like yourself tries to ignore their responsibilities and promises. Secondly I was on the waiting list and you told me lessons will begin during the month of September. (This was made during June. If you wanted a deposit why didn’t you ask for one)? I was not offered an option of a specific start date as you did not have one at the time. You now say that automatic lessons are no longer available in the South Shore Area. This is only after I contacted you and despite automatic lessons still being advertised on your website. Essentially what you are trying to say is completely untruthful. Remember people will read this review, they will judge for themselves whether your driving school is the one for them – as there are plenty around (as you have stated they are free to choose). I will end as I started; dealing with you has been A TOTAL WASTE OF TIME, shame on you.

I had such a great experience with Blackpool driving school, I passed first time with my brilliant instructor, Liz. She is a great instructor I learnt so much from her in such a short time! I took a 30 hour course and felt super confident by the time my test came. Thank you!

A massive, massive thankyou to Simon Anson- for teaching me what I lacked with driving, for the guidance where it was needed, for the encouragement, support, the confidence and hope you gave to me everyday and for dealing with the tears and anxiety along the way😂

Thank you to Donna and Mike I passed me my driving test very easily and quickly! It was a very positive experience and I enjoyed every minute. He was very very helpful and supported me all the way through. I couldn’t recommend this place anymore if I tried! Amazing time

I recently passed my test after struggling and losing all confidence with manual Dave helped me get confidence again in the automatic and was very patient with me the whole way through. I passed my test first time and couldn’t have done it without Dave. Donna was also a huge help with making sure I got a test quicker and ensuring I got another one soon when mine was cancelled. Huge thank you to bds and especially Dave and Donna!! Couldn’t recommend them enough.

Recently I passed my driving test and finished my driving lessons with Shane and would like to say that he is absolutely professional, patient and ensures to fine tune areas of weakness in your driving. I would say Im lucky to of had him as my driving instructor and very great full for transforming me into a confident and safe driver. Not only that he made the experience of learning enjoyable.
