I would like to say a huge thank you to Nick Ochar for helping me pass my driving test in November from the first attempt. Nick was a good instructor, calm and patient he always made me feel at ease and committed to helping me learn and I appreciate it a lot. I couldn’t recommend him anymore.

David ,my driving instructor, has proven to be an effective and thorough instructor as he does a lot of neat picking and wouldn't leave any stones unturned. He works with you and try to make arrangements as efficient and effective as possible

I had an excellent experience with BDS and would highly recommend my instructor Dave Thorpe. As someone who was terrified to start driving, Dave was the ideal instructor for me. He was calm and patient throughout all of my lessons and always put me at ease. I was never afraid to ask questions (no matter how stupid!), and I was never made to feel awkward or pressured when I kept making the same mistakes. Whenever I got disheartened or frustrated with myself, Dave told me not to dwell on past mistakes and to just concentrate on the present which helped me to stay focused. He did everything he could to help me achieve my end goal and we even managed to have a laugh during our lessons. So for me it was a perfectly balanced learning experience! Aside from the actual lessons themselves, I found booking lessons with BDS to be easy and stress free. It was also very easy to get in touch with Dave who was very accommodating when it came to booking and rearranging lessons, and who ensured that I got every single minute I paid for. He also provided plenty of useful links and resources for both my theory and practical tests. All in all, I’d highly recommend both Dave and BDS. They helped me to achieve something that seemed impossible to me at the beginning of my journey.

Big thanks to Dave for helping me learn to drive. He was really informative, patient and committed to helping me learn and I appreciate it a lot. The instructor (Dave) was extremely helpful and understanding. He was very patient when I didn’t understand something and did everything he could to help me out. He was patient which helped me improve lesson by lesson and it meant that I felt comfortable in the lessons. I highly recommend this company to anyone who is looking to pass their test.

I had Shane McKenna as my driving instructor and I couldn’t reccomend him enough, He was so calm and patient no matter if I made a mistake, and would always talk to me in detail about how to improve so I know what I need to do next time, my lessons were nothing but enjoyable and I looked forward to them every week, He massively helped with my confidence when driving, and I could not of done it without his learning and support. I passed my test first time with 2 minors due to his teachings. Thank you so much Shane!!!

I would say a big thankyou to mandy my driving instructor. She has been so patient and always come up with remedies to help me get through my driving lesson. Nothing was to much bother for her she helped me start to finish and got me to pass my driving test can not thank her enough. I would highly recommend DBS driving school one of the best I have been with and I've been with a few.

I was extremely nervous to even get in the car. I never thought I’d see myself driving. Paul was so reassuring and a great laugh. I cannot recommend him enough. Not only is he an ace driver, he’s a great teacher. He was very patient with my lack of confidence and would highly recommend him, especially for anyone more on the nervous side. BDS as a whole were great to work with, but especially Paul!

I would recommend BDS to anyone that would like to start learning or are near to being test ready. After completing a 35 hour intensive course I wasn’t test ready and started to take lessons with Dan Jenkins to persevere. I truly believe if it wasn’t for Dan being my instructor I wouldn’t feel as confident and comfortable on the roads as I do now. Dan is patient, reliable and teaches so well. Every lesson with Dan I succeeded further and my confidence grew so much. You can tell from being in the car with Dan how much he cares about his learners and wants them to succeed. I’m so happy that I’ve passed first time and can’t thank Dan enough for the support, knowledge and guidance he has provided me with!

I can’t recommend BDS enough I had Simon as my instructor and he never gave up on me and gave me the confidence, knowledge and positivity to get me through my test. If you are considering driving lessons or an intensive corse I would definitely recommend BDS

Blackpool driving school have been brilliant with me throughout my time learning to drive, their driving instructors are brilliant!! A very helpful company with patient and reassuring instructors. I had lorna cuddy when I started and she was fabulous she had lots of confidence in me which was very helpful for me, she was very patient and kind and very accommodating. When it came to my test date unfortunately lorna wasn’t Available so she gave me advice and the bds number and they forwarded me to Russel wheeler, he was absolutely amazing with me straight away helped me keep up my confidence and remain calm on the weeks coming up to my test he was very patient and kind and again very assuring to make sure my nerves didn’t get the better of me! He was so helpful. I’m so impressed with both instructors and the company, I couldn’t have received better guidance!

It took a little longer than I would’ve liked to pass my test but that’s through fault of my own and my instructor was always patient with me and was always telling me how to improve the smallest details

Dan helped me in building my confidence and keeping my nerves in control. We had amazing conversation s and this helped me to be myself and wanted to push myself harder. Dan always assured me not to overthink as I was already a driver in my native country and always had my own opinion, he was very patient and very accommodating. I thank you for your support and confidence in me and BDS for getting me the right support when i needed it most.

The driving instructor I had David Thorpe was very understanding and helpful, was always there to make sure I was comfortable and always pushed me to become better. If I ever needed to ask any questions he was always there to answer and make sure I understood everything I was confused about and he made sure I was ready for my test for me to pass.

Huge thank you to Russell for helping me pass my test! I came to driving very fearful. However, thanks to a lot of patience, understanding, laughter and tears. He has helped me grow into a confident driver. Would highly reccomend to anyone!
