I had Dan Jenkins as my instructor who I got recommended to by a friend who passed first time with him and I’ve been learning to drive with him for 6 months and I have passed first time with 0 minors. I couldn’t recommend him enough he’s funny, calm and informative. He gives the feedback after every lesson which made me know my faults and would work on them on the next lesson we had. He was flexible with my working hours so I had a lesson each week and would hardly miss a week. Overall I would recommend Dan to anyone!

I passed my test on my first attempt, thanks to the amazing assistance of BDS and especially Shane. He was very flexible with me, even taking up his personal time to do my driving lessons because I couldn't get time off work for weekday lessons (Thank you Shane). Donna was on the ball 24/7; she even managed to schedule a test for me 3 days after my initial one got rescheduled due to the weather. If she hadn't done that, I would have had to wait an extra month to take my test. Thankyou so much BDS 🥳

I can highly recommend BDS. Donna was very efficient in sorting out our booking. My son was lucky enough to have Ian Buckingham as his instructor. Ian is patient and calm. His advice and support were invaluable in helping my son to pass his test. Ian went above and beyond to support my son to pass his test, both in and outside lessons. Can't recommend him enough.

I started my lessons with Shane McKenna late September 2023 and passed on my first try just last week. Shane is an excellent instructor, very helpful and I highly recommend. BDS as a company is very organised, professional, and there is no need to stress about booking your test as they do it for you. Again, highly recommend.

I had Shane McKenna as a driving instructor he helped me a lot to build my confidence to get me the pass I needed. I would highly recommend him as he’s very patient, good sense of humour and was great at being able to talk things through with me.

Blackpool driving school is a very reliable and accomplished company. I was taught by Shane McKenna who is a proficient instructor. He was very thorough, skilled and made me feel confident in my abilities to which I passed 1st time on the 12th of March. Thank you Shane and I would highly recommend Blackpool driving school.

My experience with Mandy was the best. She made everything so easily understandable. She had mnemonics for everything with a great sense of humor making my lessons every bit worth it. I’m so glad I passed on my first try. Thank you again Mandy.

I highly recommend BDS I had Nick as my instructor who stood by me all the way, he was patient and so chilled that I could relax. As a very new driver at a later age he made me feel calm and capable of achieving my licence dream. Today I passed my test second time around and I couldn't have done it with out Nick and BDS. Now I can drive to work instead of standing at the bus stop in all our weathers.

Dan jenkins is the best driving instructor I could ask for, he’s calm, funny, gives me the best and easiest advice and gave me so many tips and tricks to ensure that I pass my test which I did thanks to him, he made driving easier by using different techniques, he boosted my confidence so much when I first started learning as he didn’t rush me to learn he took his time with me and let me learn in my own time, we had some of the best and funniest conversations on our lesson which is why we got along so well which also meant I wanted to try extra hard to show him my thank you for his hard work he’s done. I passed my test with bds, my instructor was liz and she was fantastic from the second I sat in the drivers seat, although I had plenty of past experience I was no where near the standard required and thanks to liz’s knowledge and patience I was ready in time for my test and I successfully passed. For anyone that is nearly test ready I highly recommend an intense course with liz

I had Dan Jenkins as my instructor and I owe my first time pass to him. Dan is extremely patient and all round just a great guy. When I had any doubts he wouldn’t just teach me what I was doing wrong but he would go out of his way to make sure that I understood how to do something right. He is very funny which made his lessons all the more enjoyable. I couldn’t recommend Blackpool Driving School or Dan any more - they were perfect.

My instructor Dave Topley put me at ease straight away, I always felt relaxed and comfortable with him during lessons. I’ve been trying for a long time with other company’s in the past and I thought I had no chance with passing ever I recently started to get back into it with no confidence I choose BDS and dan Jenkins to start again and wow I picked up and learnt so quickly I passed my first ever test today I would never of thought I would ever even be in that position to sit a test before I met dan Jenkins at BDS he is the best he is so kind your 110% comfortable you can have a laugh and if u do something wrong it’s not scary it’s not awkward you laugh it off with Dan and keep trying and trying until you have 100% got it and your fully confident I would highly recommend to anyone wanting to drive and even if you have had bad experiences in the past elsewhere
