I couldn’t have asked for a better time with BDS. My instructor Dave made me feel at ease from the first lesson to the last, being patient and understanding throughout every lesson we had. Couldn’t recommend anyone else to learn with👍

BDS helped me find an intensive course that suited me. They were helpful from the start and were extremely flexible with all my requests. I booked my intensive course for January and paid a deposit however my exam dates got moved and with changing circumstances I had to cancel my intensive course. All it took was a message and within a few minutes I received a message back and was offered a full refund. I have had nothing but a positive experience with BDS and would recommend them to anyone wanting to learn to drive.

As a nervous driver, Paul from DBS was absolutely outstanding. He was great at talking through manoeuvres and explaining any questions (or to just have a chat). I was with two prior instructors but none as efficient and brilliant as DBS, ensuring I got a test when I needed, and allowing me to pass my first practical with them. Thanks all :)

I spent my time with BDS with an amazing instructor called Shane; He is an incredible instructor and person, we had many lovely chats unrelated to my driving but my driving always took priority in the absolute best way, he was always willing to teach in a way that suited me best and accommodated to my tight schedule with ease. I went from someone who had learnt a bit about driving but was lacking in confidence and a lot of knowledge prior to my time with him to someone who is confident in his abilities and knowledgeable about how to drive, maintain and look after my car all thanks to this man. I will be suggesting him to anyone who is ever learning to drive and Donna who managed a lot of the backend communication and admin was fast, effective and I cannot thank both of them enough for how amazing they have been to me. Also, I passed first time!

I started driving with BDS (Paul) after having so many driving instructors where I wasn’t getting far with my lessons, since being with BDS , I’ve come on so much and today I finally passed my driving test, Paul made me feel so much at ease and less anxious when I was in the car. Thank you so much for teaching me how to drive a getting me where I need to be today! I can now go and enjoy the freedom in the car and not worry about busses anymore! Thank you again!

I started my driving lessons with little experience then with only 20 hours in lessons I passed my driving test with 1 minor, with the help of a great instructor Dan Jenkins from bds driving school, would highly recommend this instructor.

Passed first time, zero faults with Paul as my instructor. From the first lesson made me feel comfortable and at ease. Always made time for my lesson around work. Cant recommended him enough.

I booked a driving course with Mandy Kerr. She was incredible. Very patient taught me so much. Went above and beyond and put me at ease. (which isn't easy to do) She is brilliant at being adaptable when it comes to teaching and as a Learning and Development Practitioner I know how much of a valuable skill that y flexibility is. I’ve been having weekly lessons with Dan Jenkins for last 6 months and he is professional, thoughtful and patient. He’s been incredibly supportive and knows what to do and when to do it. He gave me the confidence to pass my test my first time. Dan is an incredible driving instructor and couldn’t recommend him enough!

After several unsuccessful years of learning to drive and failed tests , I thought I would never learn to drive and almost gave up trying. Then I was recommended by a friend to try BDS Driving School, and it's the been the best experience. I really enjoyed ny lessons because my instructor Mandy Kerr was incredibly patient , and thoughtful with my personal learning ability, and just such a calming presence. I learnt so much from her without even realising it and it all came in so useful when I took my test and passed at the Grand age of 62. Thank you to all the team at BDS too, for keeping me updated as soon as a test was available. I couldn't have asked for better care. I'm so incredibly grateful that BDS Driving School was recommended to me and so happy to at last be a bona fida driver 😁 Anyone wanting to learn to drive, you can do no better than BDS Driving School. Passed my test with Shane McKenna great teacher and great guy he was always really patient and accommodating even when going out of Blackpool for lessons when needed, Shane always had the banter on point and never made me feel stupid when I made a mistake.

I had a 15 hour intensive course with Mandy Kerr and I passed with 6 faults. Mandy was an incredible instructor who knew what to do and doing it in good time. I managed to fit everything that I needed to cover in the 15 hours and I couldn’t have been any happier with the result! Very patient and clear with explaining and was pleasant company

I have learnt to drive with Dave and he has been absolutely brilliant from start to finish. I have passed my test with weekly lessons and feel completely confident with my ability to go out on the roads alone. He has been very helpful when having to swap lessons and always maintained a professional attitude, while being great fun to drive with. Also the office staff have been brilliant with coordinating and arranging test dates. Would definitely recommend this company!

Absolutely outstanding experience with my instructor Ian Buckingham. Had a rough year and with added pressure of getting my test passed on me it’s been a struggle. But honestly I can’t thank Ian enough he helped me so much through it all extremely patient, and easy to learn with. Top top man couldn’t reccomend him enough! And thanks to Donna at dbs who went above and beyond to help me get a test today when mine got cancelled on Tuesday. My instructor Paul Tilling I can't thank enough excellent driving instructor. Doing my driving test late in life Paul put me at ease and gave me the confidence to pass my test first time,all in 6 days. I would definitely recommend him.
