This is my third book I have published through iUniverse. There customer service and responsiveness is the best!

They worked with me from start to finish. Even after I had submitted my final manuscript I caught a last minute error on my part and they took the time to fix it at no extra charge.

The final product is fine. But there were lots of communication issues with the people in charge of my project. Not everyone, but some of them did not respond to my emails. In fact one of them still has not responded to sending me the book that came with my re-submission. I don't like to leave a negative review, but this became too much this time. I am giving an average review for this reason. I almost chose poor but that would not be fair to the other people that did a great job communicating an tending to my requests.

Good service in general but the type setting/design and marketing service (e.g., author's website and press release) can be improved, as there are lots of errors on the first draft. This makes the author as the sole gatekeeper to spot out any errors for fixing despite the errors were fixed swiftly.

IUniverse has been a very friendly and cooperative publishing service. I recommend them for first-time authors. Their cost of service is very reasonable.

If there was a negitive option for a star, I would’ve chose that.. there busy, I understand but there far from professional. Including the managers, no one calls me back, they promise call backs however never call back. They barely respond through email, but yet wants me to change my cover name to a fake name. I’m paying $1000 just to receive 10% of royalty. Any positive review is a lie.If anyone knows a better self publishing company please email me @zekewilliams500@gmail

My book came out to be of my liking and approval. I wish they had return calls in a more promptly manner and hope this will improve. I will use this company again in my future work.

No communication end of review.

I don’t feel like I was working with people who really cared much about me or my book. Being new to this, the feeling that I was tossed from one person to the next was unsettling. I did not receive everything that was in the original contract that I signed. There was also a communication gap between myself and others. The final product was not what I wanted. I had no choice but to accept it as is.

They need to work on editing.

Very good to excellent in the manuscript editing portion. Marketing: Jury still out. Expensive; sold a second marketing package AFTER publication. The marketing executive that convinced me to buy it became TOTALLY UNAVAILABLE after I bought it. I'm still waiting to see if it produces for me. Considerable difficulties throughout the process it getting through to some of the iUniverse personnel. Frustrating.

Iuniverse is a dependable book publishing company.

This publishing agency is garbage. If you want your book published properly. Not only are they getting you on hidden fees, they screwed up my book!!!

During this difficult COVID time none of us should expect good service from anyone. Fortunately iuniverse was able to deliver what they promised in a reasonable amount of time. There was always present however a 'upsell' presence of which you must be aware. After all, it is in sales as well.All in all, I feel they did a great job with a first time author. Michael Gellis MD

I am pleased with my book published by IUniverse. The publication process was somewhat complicated having to interact with many different departments and individuals. Overall, all the employees were courteous, efficient, and helpful when contacted. The level of professionalism and attention to detail was appreciated.
