I've published five novels with iUniverse and the latest is always the most rewarding. Quick and easy, five weeks and its in my hands. Christ Kennedy, Paladin:An Origin Story.

Very happy with the results and process, I feel that the marketing is a little aggressive.

I loved working with the IUNIVERSE staff throughout the entire process. Just wish they gave more support when promoting your work. Other than that they're too tier Self Publishing company that I highly recommend hands down no contest.

I would definitely recommend iUniverse for new writers. They are helpful and communicate with the author regularly. When it comes to marketing, be prepared to say no to some of the offers unless you are wealthy. It would be nice if the marketing group could lay out all the possibilities in writing so the author could know at the outset of marketing what to pick and choose.

I've had six check-in coordinators, and they all have a different tory about my manuscript. I am most disappointed with your services, I will not recommend your services to anyone. I 've published two books through your company and have another one ready, but I am having second thoughts about using your services again behind the negative experiences from your agents. Somehow or another try to make it up to me.

Well... Where do I start? I'm still walking along my journey... a journey that I allowed iUniverse to become apart of... I called them a few times before I jointed and I finally took the plunge in (2015) Fast forward to 2019 and I am now an author doing book signings within different areas and cities! Now, "hold up!" In me saying all this I want most would be iUniverse customers and soon to be authors to understand something... A BOOK DOES "NOT!" I REPEAT DOES "NOT!" SELL OR WRITE ITSELF!!!! If you aren't already coming to iUniverse with a loose plan for when, where, how, and why to promote and sell your book? I'm sorry... but, you're already "lost!" So, before going ahead and proceeding with your dreams... first ask yourself... "What is my dream?" Do you really want to be an author? Or, do you simply like the "idea" of being an author? These are both two different things... and only those who are in it for the passion and grind will last... Heart stays, the not so passionate will fall off... You know what though? There isn't anything wrong with that either, because in life we have to try different things before we find our "thing!" But hey... if you're someone who really wants to write a book, please do understand that this is a journey and not necessary a race... Not till you finish your completed transcript that is :) Note: Even for myself... although I already gauged, locked and loaded to unleash my material... I was ignorant towards the whole process... That process being that you will not be the same person finishing your book as the person you were while starting... So, to sum and close everything off I will say pick your dreams, fights, passions and projects wisely... :) There is also no right nor wrong answer here... Intuition will lead you...

I am having a great experience in publishing my first book. The editor's help me re-evaluate the Content outline. This encouraged me to put the chapters in a more natural order. This made a difference. Also, editing my transcript showed me they are high level. The Design team was also terrific. They turned two suggestions into two possible mock ups. I suggested putting the two together. The book cover is amazing. It looks great !!. The color combination with the lettering is great. I am so glad I to be with iUniverse.. The Marketing Consultant was very encouraging. She enabled me to get additional features that will help me greatly.in getting the book sold more. The company enabled me get on the Editor's Choice. I'm impressed. When I went on iUniverse's website and found my book, it made me feel good. We got it done.

Actually, a very good experience. There were some bumps in the road, but overall it was a good experience. There was a persistence in delays that hampered my production. At times it seemed an interminable time was used to get from A to B. Generably speaking, all units showed good professionally.

This is my first book with this company. So far the process to publication has been smooth. I had wonderful consultants 3 or 4 of them. There is always room for improvement. I will consider them for my next project.

I was a little unsure when I started working with iUniverse. I have been excited since we published on 36 thousand locations for people to have access. They give results every quarter, I'm waiting to see the results in the next four weeks! Take a step, watch your steps, and move forward in a healthy way!

iniverse did an excellent job of priningt my book, but your promotions Dep't stinks. The scammed me oui... ... of over $4.',00.00 and I got no results except an overdrawn credit card. I will never trust you with my credit card again. BoB Greenwood

I will continue to rate low until my inquiry has been addressed rather than passed on to someone who has been unresponsive. Voicemail says on vacation, but then are there no contingenecies. Error occurred that was not ours and we halted distribution of the book bt now it has been two weeks and we are making no revenue nor enjoying the fruits of our rewards (not being able to share with family and friends even). Let's hears from you iuniverse!

iUniverse gave me a very smooth publishing experience. The team that I worked with knew all the answers to my questions, and were very accommodating. I've now published with them twice!

My first book( children’s Picture book) published with IUniverse and a tremendous amount of work on my part, with designing and redesigning cover, back cover, and interior design, numerous times. After 4 phases of corrections, the finished book was printed with the proof phase watermark still on 12 of the pages. Would not release my own book to me so I could get it out for a timely review and after a lot of angst, did provide a version that I could get reviewed. Continually trying to sell me more services along the way with foreign speaking employees that are pushy, not informed, and call at all hours, as late as 9:30 at night. My book is now at an offset print stage and waiting 10-13 weeks for that process. Every step in the publishing process there have been numerous missteps. A lot of micromanaging on my part as the author and little attention to the details—- first run of my book, after over 300 corrections for a 44 page book, every other page was blank— is 1 example.

Satisfaction with all the help I received to help me meet my goals. The marketing or sales department is a bit pushy! Thank you!

Honestly it was little intimidating to get started. And I wasn’t sure if I should trust the recommendations that iUniverse was suggesting. My thought was they just wanted more money. But that wasn’t true. Their editors helped enhanced the story. I would use them again.
