United States | 21 January 2025I want to change my review from 5 stars to one. When a lady called me and said she was returning my call. I had called Experian prior and hung up because the wait was to long. So surprised that I received a call the following day. LITTLE did I know that this lady DID NOT have anything to do with Experian, for I called them. I wanted two inquiries removed from my credit report, thanks to CAP ONE..so theblady tells me that it will be $1.00? And then another $79 to remove the inquires..after paying, the following day, I see another charge from a place in don't recognize for $24.95. I looked up the company and called them..He says that I signed up for credit monitoring. I said why would I sign up with a 782 credit score? He told me that I signed up with the "lady" for this monitoring. I googled the monitoring company, and see that they do unauthorized charges from that $1.00 fee the "lady" charged my account..I have Identity Defense. I told the man that the money had beeter be put back in my account by the morning, or i was calling the police..OH IT WAS..then I said $79 wasn't returned and that I was going to call consumer protection bureau and file a complaint for pretending to work with experian. It was refunded within 3 days..Please be aware..I had to close out my debit credit card, and was reissued a new one that would arrive in 10 days or less, so i have no way to use the money in my checking account until I receive the card..Thisbwas truly a pain in my ass, and I will NOT let anyone take advantage of me and i did file a complaint WITH CPB.

The only person you can get on the phone here is someone to read your credit report to you. You can do that on your own..

I finally was able to talk to Leo who was able to resolve my complaint without me having to jump through anymore hoops. Leo was extremely helpful, professional & friendly. He is very knowledgeable. He definitely deserves a promotion and a raise! It is hard to get someone to actually help you in this automated world we live in. Thank you Leo!
