Easy booking, fast collection and delivery. Recommended

I booked a job with Speedy same day couriers, on Monday the 18th of December 2023, because I needed some important documents to be delivered to a Solicitor's firm, the following day. The courier bike was ordered for Tuesday the 19th of December 2023, for 9:00 am, the bike didn't turn up at that time, I kept on getting text's saying that the bikes on it's way, and text's saying that they where trying to get someone to actual do the job, as they where short of drivers. So by 10:00 am, I was beginning to lose patience, and phoned to cancel the job, only to be told that I could claim a partial refund, I didn't take Speedy same day, up on there offer, at 10:35 am someone did turn up he was very polite, and my documents reached there destination by 11:10 am. So my real main issue, is that if your running / operating a Courier company, make sure you have the couriers drivers in advance, so your orders can be completed, because I paid £28.35 for a very poor service, that was not my idea of fun, saying that, I won't be using your company any time in the future.

I booked a direct courier service across London. In actuality it was given to a driver on a general route, look about 4 hours to arrive instead of 1.5 and I was charged for direct service and told no refund. It did eventually arrive and the guy was polite enough so 2 stars.

Great job for reasonable price

I paid nearly £65 for a very small item to be couriered about 20 miles. I wanted a motorbike courier, but that wasn't even an option when selecting delivery method. Had to wait 2 hours for the item to be collected which had a massive negative impact on the rest of my working day. The tracking link didn't work so I had to keep calling for updates as to the whereabouts of the courier re collection and delivery. I won't be using this service again.

The service was more prompt than I could have expected and the driver friendly and courteous. I have never used such a service before because it is so expensive but stress levels were high and needs must. Those of us involved all agree this was money well spent.

Held our parcel ransom through their own lack of communication to us. Charged an additional extortionate amount of money to deliver next day. On this occasion the cheapest was definitely not the best. Such a shame as this was our first dealings with this Company. Be careful when using them, I would recommend trying elsewhere first!

Booked a courier at 4pm to pick up from Guildford as the price was reasonable, despite some of the 1 star reviews here. They subsequently sent me an out of hours supplement which was 30% on top of the original price. I opted to have it delivered the next morning instead at a designated time, as it didn't incur this extra charge. That morning I got an email to say they couldn't pick it up at the agreed time and wouldn't give me a new time as it was a difficult place to get to - despite the fact they knew the pick up address from the day before. Total waste of time and would not recommend using.
