United Kingdom | 02 August 2023Unfortunately my experience was negative. I left a small item at work which required my office to book a courier to get it to me living approx 1.5hrs away. Speedy Sameday accepted the booking, took the money (and afterwards asked for an extra £15 to cover the London toll charge)....then approx. 10mins later, they sent an email cancelling the booking as no drivers available. CHECK DRIVER AVAILABILITY BEFORE ACCEPTING A BOOKING 😡

I was incredibly impressed with the same day service, which was collected at the time I had booked and arrived safely with me in very good time. The van driver was extremely pleasant and friendly as well. Well done and Thank You!

United Kingdom | 12 July 2023Not a great experience. I was charged for ULEZ, £12.50 + VAT, even though the scooter is not liable for the ULEZ charge. I did call to ask if this was an error, but was told they charge it regardless of the vehicle “just in case” and “it’s in the terms and conditions”. I won’t use them again.

My daughter left her passport at Uni and we were leaving that same day! Panic averted! Great service, would definitely recommend!

Call handler uninterested When I complained they weren't interested. Speedy slow coach and crap more like Im now waiting for my money to be returned

United Kingdom | 02 June 2023Appalling service. Booked the urgent service which states collection within 60 minutes. The driver arrived after 60 minutes. No update on progress or allocation of a driver despite me calling twice. I then cancelled (prior to driver arriving on site and having had NO notification of driver being en route or allocated) and they withheld 50% refund. They then claimed the driver was only 5 minutes away. Had I known this I would not have booked the alternative courier. When using the tracking button the status of my order was never changed. They did not seem to understand their own cancellation policy, and had their own interpretation of this. Using colour coding of red, amber, green to categorise cancellations, which is perfectly reasonable and fair. But this cannot be used if the client is unaware of the changes to the categorisation or does not have any notification of driver allocation. I cancelled my driver expecting a full refund under the expectation my status was still 'green', however, to then suddenly be told as I am cancelling the status was 'amber' and driver was 5 minutes away is not fair on the consumer. If they provided a decent service with updates throughout this could be mitigated and ensure their cancellation policy is valid.

United Kingdom | 22 May 2023Booked a courier for 11am, rang to check on it at 1030 to be told a driver wasn’t assigned yet and they couldn’t give me any time frame whatsoever as to when it would be picked up. So I then moved the booking to after 3 as the person collecting from couldn’t sit around all day waiting for someone to maybe turn up. They then tried to charge me a change fee for changing the booking time!!! After a few more hours I had to cancel as there was still no driver, all in all a disaster and will never use again.
