United Kingdom | 10 June 2024I don't feel this company cares about his customers. They giving all sorts of excuses regarding why internet is slow. I'm on the fibre 900mbs package minimum promised I think was between 600 and 700mbs for 2 days I've been getting 40mbs on my ps5 which is connected directly I'm getting 2mbs so there's a problem. Maybe it's the router or a problem on there side.. customer service not very helpful.. Stick with virgin media.. never had any issues

United Kingdom | 08 June 2024We haven't even been with Gigabit for a week. Literally 48 hours. We paid for the 900mbps package and can't even get above 70mbps with a wired ethernet connection. To make matters worse. When I called to sign up with them their sales team can answer within minutes but whenever I have called since joining with this issue I am number 1 in the queue and then the phone disconnects. Without fail every time. I'm calling during your support teams supposed working hours today between 10:30 and 2:30 on a Saturday and I cant even speak to anyone. Seems the only way to reach you after you have taken our money is by making sure everyone knows not to use you and hope you reply to a review on a DIFFERENT WEBSITE to your own. What a joke. UPDATE 04/07/24: after going through seemingly helpful troubleshooting steps with the best agent for the job according to their operations director, I was to wait until they sent me a new ethernet cord for some further tests. It has been a month since then and they have not sent out the cord nor have they bothered to phone me like they said they would. Avoid at all costs.

United Kingdom | 04 June 2024Absolute joke of a company !!!! Trying to get through to this company is an absoulte joke to say the least . You 4 ring dials then told your first in Que then says all agents are busy. Can spend hours trying to get through to these clowns is a nightmare. Wouldn’t even bother. Also states on email if you’re having financial difficulties please call us. What’s the point when all you say is we want the bill in full.

United Kingdom | 04 June 2024Constantly down Constantly down, slow speeds that can’t be explained apparently, stops you watching streaming videos when the speeds drop, had nothing but problems since I moved to them, they never hit the speeds they say you’ll get, their WiFi routers are awful and they promised me a new updated router back in January but I’ve had nothing from them, they did let me have a box to help speed my WiFi connection but that doesn’t always help. When it’s running ok it’s fine but you will probably find your signal drops out more times than not.

United Kingdom | 21 May 2024I cancelled my service the same day as I placed the order due to what I'd seen online. I managed to get the cancellation confirmed after chasing it, but have since been charged, am now getting emails from Gigabit stating I owe them money. I have chased this with them three times now, and never had a response. I can only imagine what hassle I would have had if I'd of kept my order.

Jamaica | 15 May 2024Do not even bother with Gigabit! I wish I'd read these reviews before purchasing. It feels like a big scam. Why City Fiber would advertise this company on its website is beyond me. You won't even be able to make a WhatsApp call, whilst sitting on top of the router! I came from Virgin Media, with a quarter of the Gb promised by gigabit. And immediately the bars on my laptop dropped from 4 full bars to 1. It's the same on my Iphone 14pro, never more than 2 bars showing (with Virgin I also had full bars on both devices). It's been an absolute NIGHTMARE! I'm now hot-spotting from my mobile telephone to be able to work from home. And guess what, there is NOTHING I (you) can do about this. They promise the Wifi into the house (City Fibre) but give you a crap router, that won't talk to any of your devices. Hopefully they will go out of business, and I will be released from this madness! They just called, trying to sell me another router that may work, or may not. So disgusting!!!!!!

United Kingdom | 01 May 2024Paying for 900, often only getting 30-40 which is about half of what I was getting on partial fibre. Closed my tickets without responding. Can't get through on the phone either, keep getting told I'm first in the queue and then they say there's no one available and hang up. I like how they keep their prices the same for the whole length of the contract, but that's meaningless when you're not getting what you're paying for.

United Kingdom | 21 April 2024When they came around knocking doors trying to get people to change to them, we were promised excellent Internet service, as our current one was terrible. They showed us the speed we'd be getting, which was a hell of a lot quicker, so we switched. We've been with them for a good 5-6 months or so now, and i can honestly say it's the worst Internet we've ever had!! Especially upstairs! Due to having smart TVs upstairs and down, there's a lot of times we're unable to use them because of having such poor Internet that cuts off completely most of the time. We're switching providers again now. EDIT: We switched to a new provider, Internet should have been up and running the 9th of this month, nothing. So got in contact with them, the new provider sent something to Gigabit basically saying we are changing to them etc, Gigabit got back to them and basically told them no they're staying with us. So our new provider assumed we had changed our mind and didn't get the service up and running, despite us paying £40 in advance for the first month. Yet we never recieved anything from Gigabit letting us know they'd stopped us getting a new service, the guy we spoke to from the new provider even asked if Gigabit had contacted us about it. EDIT number 2!!! The new provider was still going to put us through as a new customer and he hoped to get it up and running foe us ASAP, but today 23/05/24 we're told that it won't be until the 6th June. Before finding out all this Gigabit, after telling the new company we were staying with them had cut our Internet off anyway, so we've had no Internet for 3 days and now won't have any until the new company can get us up and running in 2 weeks. Honestly AVOID this company like the plague, there are far better Internet providers out there.

United Kingdom | 17 April 2024At first when I got Gigabit Full Fibre into my house, I was having problems setting up my old devices on my home network as they needed "Static IP address",so I contacted their Support team and they were very helpful changing me over from their Dynamic address which is their Standard settings, I would like to thank Notion and all of the various members that I came across in the 3 week period, that they were involved with, and a Special thanks to Hannah, their Manager

United Kingdom | 10 April 2024Great experience from start to finish. Very informative and helpful during process of looking to switch broadband providers. Installers were brilliant, really professional and helpful. Kit arrived a couple of days before the install via DPD and was really quick and easy to set up. Now live on the circuit speeds are absolutely fantastic and the connection is really stable. Highly recommend Gigabit Networks

United Kingdom | 05 April 2024I want to follow up on my poor review of gigabit networks. I wrote early March: New gigabit network customer. Never shipped my router ahead like told will be the case. Had to call them 3 times and lied twice was already shipped.. was supposed to be few days ahead of installation. Reference .## 30740 ## so you know it's real. It went a lot worse. My internet speed doesn't even reach 9mb/s some days despite paying for 900. And no one ever answered the phone. I am always number 1 in the queue then the call is cut. Appalling customer service. I left them after 2weeks. They tried to charge me exit fees, and an extra month but used similar comments here about contacting trading standards if they will do it Trustpilot need to clean up reviews here. The few positive reviews are for giganet no gigabit network; it's a different company. Super happy with new provider Zen network

United Kingdom | 05 April 2024We decided to go with this company for broadband and what a mistake. Had an installation date and waited in from 8am to 1pm. Nobody turned up and when I rang to find out why they blamed city fibre. They are pure liars and thieves as city fibre investigated and turns out these clowns hadn’t even sent the installation date to city fibre. We cancelled the contract with gigabit as they lied time and time again and they tried to say we have a contract and need to honour it. I said take me to court and I’ll fight you all the way but they didn’t contact me again. Went with a company called No One and fantastic experience but hopefully people read the reviews of gigabit and decide to go with someone else to save the hassle of lies and broken promises. AVOID AT ALL COSTS 🤡 💩

United Kingdom | 29 March 2024I was previously with Vodafone/city fiber, contact ended was not willing to pay over the odds, so I decided on Gigabit, I think I'm starting to regret that decision. No issues with installing on the day arranged, that was a smooth process. However what I'm paying for and what I'm receiving speed wise, does not compare to Vodafone in the slightest. Nor does the the internet extend to the attic, which Vodafone did. If your considering this company, don't! Gigabit before you say, the account is in my son's name. Gigabit what is your speed promise on your packages

United Kingdom | 22 March 2024Back again to give these lying Arseh0les, some more feed back, I got told my GIGALYERS broadband insulation is being put back because of problems getting to my property, and it needs clearance, another company not to name, came out sane job and bingo, and done it with less than a month, so to all you lying people, you know who you are, thank you, because if that’s your costumer service, I glad I didnt go with these lying toe rags . And if your having problems, call and cancel and go elsewhere,. Just go and search, and you’ll with find x

United Kingdom | 12 March 2024Instal by Cityfibre was fantastic but Gigabit wifi average Is 50mb you get max 300+ at times and paying for 900 Virgin Media was a constant 220mb on a 200 contract so in hindsight should have stayed with them. Hope this helps someone decide.

United Kingdom | 09 March 2024Installation guys were awesome, on time polite and informative. HOWEVER- DO NOT TOUCH THIS COMPANY, I've had this provider since December and had nothing but intermittent service or no service at all. Customer service is shocking at getting back to you with help. They are quick to take your money and tells you every month but doesn't help with the service problems. They want us to except the shocking service because they send 1 email to apologise but with no solution.

Jason Taylor
United Kingdom | 22 February 2024Joke of a company! Intermittent connection since my installation 5 months ago! Customer Service is shocking and do not respond to my issues. The only times that they do respond is when you cancel the direct debit to them!!! I have never received a contract from this company and I am unable to access the customer portal. Again these have been ticketed with the company but still not resolved. I have now signed up with another company which will be activated shortly. NOBODY PAY THE FULL INVOICE as you have 50% service! Speak to the accounts department and they will sort this! DO NOT PAY CANCELLATION FEES if you leave this company as you are covered by the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
