Absolutely amazing Internet speeds are always guaranteed and super fast for the price customer server is 10 stars for me get through to them very fast and helpful I would recommend these to anyone fast,helpful,affordable

My installation was scheduled for a Friday afternoon between 1 and 6pm, I was told it would take 2-3 hours to complete. Just after 4pm called the customer 'service' line and was assured that the work would go ahead. At 5:30 pm the contractor called to say that the previous installation was over-running and the engineer would not complete the installation and I would have to rebook - fair enough. At 7pm the engineer called to say he was on-site to do the work! The following week I received a call from a 'manager' at Gigabit to say that i had not been there when the engineer called... I've now rebooked the installation for next week .. in the morning so hopefully it will go ahead. After receiving this review request, I had a further email apologising as I was 'not a customer' and offering a £20 Amazon voucher if I signed up.. Communication is poor ... even for this industry. Tickets raised through their website are not answered - if you can even log in I'm already regretting my decision to use Gigabit and I haven't even used their service

So far my experience with Gigabit networks has been very disappointing. I joined the service with the expectation of getting better speed than my previous supplier but unfortunately, the bandwidth speed dropped because I took a benchmark before I left the former provider and when I joined Gigabit, and the performance has clearly dropped. I engaged the support team on several occasions but they claimed that the speed could be affected by the number of devices at my house. Meanwhile, this number of devices were present when I was using my last provider. Obviously, they do not keep their promise. Besides, there was a day when there was a total service outage, which never happened with my previous provider. I wrote support and raised a ticket and asked for compensation since that was a contract breach. They never responded to date. Overall, bad experience! I wished I had read these reviews before signing up.

I went onto Gigabit networks site and placed an order for the home 900 line. Did all the forms including DD. Wanted to confirm with someone so went onto online chat. No one available there just another form to fill in. A "Ticket" was created for this. 3 days later still no response. Then asked to cancel the contract through customer portal. Still no response. Went to bank account and saw the DD there, so cancelled it. Then I got a response very quickly after that saying I need to reinstate the DD. Seems like they only respond when they think they will not get any money from you. No need to say that I have now gone with another provider.

Couldn’t provide internet due to underground BT ducts being blocked. Claimed it would cost to much. So I was without internet until I could rearrange a supplier. Fast forward 6 months. BT out to run new cable in the very same ducts with no issues

There was an issue with fitting which caused me some problems but wasn't really anybody's fault. I had a limited time to get my new service fitted as the other provider was turning off the broadband. Hannah at Gigabit was able to get me a time to suit and so far its working wonderfully.

The service has been faultless, from reviewing their website, to calling their office to see if they’re a genuine outfit, to ordering, city fibre coming out installing the fibre line to the exact spot I wanted it, to the router being shipped out the very next day. Everything was done exactly when promised. Considering that city fibre and their ISP partners may not have been around for that long compared to the likes of BT/Virgin, Gigabit Networks (not to be confused with Giganet) really surpassed expectations. I was on the fence about going for fibre having been with Virgin for 6+ years and had a very reliable service. But the sheer cost hikes just didn’t make it value for money anymore. I read so many negative reviews from other isp providers under the city fibre network and the only consistent one that offered the cheapest package was Gigabit Networks £29.99 pm for 900mbps up and download. Everyone else £5-£20 more expensive per month. On the fence I called their offices to see if they were a genuine set up, I spoke to such a nice chap in the midlands who really went out of his way to answer all my queries, I was sold from that moment. Gigabit if you’re reading this please give him the recognition he deserves. Ordered my bundle, set the date. Got the confirmation, had to delay my install on the website with a few clicks because Virgin wanted a 30 day notice despite my contact finishing on a certain date. Came to my install date, city fibres army came out and did everything I wanted them to do, from drilling behind my skirting board that I had prepped, to installing their module box behind the tv stand, it was honestly brilliant, the chap who did it with his team was really good with his comms. Gigabit networks wifi6 mesh Router came the next day and it was plug and play. No config required. My up and download seem to be capped around 300-400mbps but I’m sure a phone call will sort that relatively quickly. Extremely happy great work all round

Well I can personally vouch for the service - City Fibre recently installed my street and have just gone live, I signed up with Gigabit Network and was installed on the 3rd of this month. Tidy install and online and working perfectly by the time the installers left. almost three times the speed of my previous Virgin set up and two thirds the cost. I signed up to the 900Mb contract and so pleased with it. I have no link or affiliation with City Fibre or Gigabit networks other than I am a customer. I see others comments re speed being slow, when I was first connected it was 300mb, next day 430mb, As I post this review on day 6 my download speed is 753 and upload 823, Its blisteringly fast

Just avoid at all costs. Signed up for 900mb , highest we’ve ever gotten is 470mb and the lowest has been 35mb. They’re now coming across as the “Del Boy and Rodney” of internet service providers and I suspect they will not be around for very long. Thankfully still within the 14 day cooling of period and as ours was only installed 3 days ago so will be looking at cancelling.

I migrated from another City Fibre provider to a connection with Gigabit. There was a minor issue with no connection at the start, but a couple of calls later, firstly with sales and tech support, and the issue was resolved within the hour. Speed is comparable to my previous supplier, hopefully, it's just as reliable also. So far so good and impressed with the CS and speed of dealing with my issue.

Great customer service, always happy to help. Its like they actually care about their customers rather than these big broadband companies your speaking to someone from india or south africa

I've had full fibre from gigabit networks for about a year. During that time I've only had to interact with their support team a few times, but in all cases have had a very polite and quick resolution to my issues. The speeds are from what I can tell as advertised, installation was quick and the engineers were very good, took their shoes off in the house etc and left no mess. My kids love the quick ping times and fast downloads, and we have quite a few of us using different devices like TVs and laptops all at the same time, with no issues and whatsoever. Generally very happy!

Was encouraged to sign up by couple of doorstep sellers. Agreed to a Gigabit internet connection to replace my VM one which would be full fibre and so 'better'. Provided my account details so a Direct Debit would be setup. This was the easy bit. Then we got an email telling us that we needed to login to their portal to see details & contract etc. Could I login to their portal, nope! We spent five days and multiple emails to try to get onto their portal to no avail so we can't manage our account. All responses to emails were "We've raised a ticket" so no actual people. In total they raised four tickets but none actually fixed the issue. Finally had to ring them and talked to a nice customer service guy and I withdrew our request. Wholly disappointing.
