I've had the compressed sawdust 'logs' in the past which have burned well, but I've been unhappy about the amount of plastic wrapping involved. I decided to try the dried hardwood logs this time and I'm delighted. They really are dry, they burn well and there is far less plastic - a massive improvement.

Logs and kindling are exactly what we expected - good quality, well wrapped, quantity as ordered. Delivery and communication extremely disappointing. I was asked to move my delivery date by one day which was accepted without any problem. From that point on, limited to zero communication on the day until we chased. Was passed to four, yes four, different delivery companies each claiming to not recognise the delivery note number provided. Eventually, UKlogsdirect got involved and I received a call from the delivery company saying they’d be with me between 4 and 5 pm. The delivery eventually arrived at just before 6 - apology from the super helpful contract driver - and we stacked the logs in the dark. Needless to say, despite the quality of items delivered, we’ll probably be sourcing our logs elsewhere in future. Shame.

Easy purchase. Kept informed with the pallet delivery so knew what to expect on the day. Plenty of payment options and different products on offer. We purchased some ruff bricks. Not sure if I would buy them again as other options burn better for longer. I would use the company again based on their service.

I only needed one box of Birch kindling rather than a pallet full, so was pleased to find UKLogsDirect were able to supply what I was looking for. Delivery by DPD was very efficient, although UK Logs Direct could have made it clearer on their website at the time of ordering that that was the courier to be used. Instead they pressed hard that they only deliver to the kerbside, not to the front door, which really only applies I assume to larger orders not delivered by DPD. However, I'd definitely use them again.
