I called in this morning to see if I could get a new tap gland for a old tap this particular one was not in stock. I needed to change a washer as the tap was dripping but the screw head was damaged and i couldn’t take out the old washer. Tom the man who served me was brilliant he took the part out to the back and when he returned he had managed to remove the damaged screw and fitted a new washer and screw he also polished the gland and would not accept any payment as he said it was just a washer and screw. Thank you Tom i owe you a drink 👍 I’m looking to buy a new water softener so i will definitely talk to you for advice.

Mystery small wet patch appeared on living room ceiling. Called called Tom and the crew. John arrived within 24 hrs and found the difficult to find leak. Leak was fixed within a day or so. This is a busy time for the team but they fitted us in cleverly. John worked until he had fixed the leak on Friday evening even though he was due to watch his team Brentford v Arsenal later. We got the leak stopped and Brentford won. Result! Thanks again Tom and the team.

We had to change the date for our two boilers to be seviced which Active did very readily.

I had read the online reviews about this company and they were all very good, so I gave them a call. I only had a small repair job to do, but Tom arrived on time and replaced a leaking pipe within an hour. This is the first time I have used this company, but I would call them again and would also recommend them.

Have used these guys a few times now and always prompt, polite and efficient. At the most recent service they diagnosed a fault with the boiler enabling me to then claim from W Bosch to get it fixed - very helpful.

Great experience, friendly engineers that filled us with confidence. They really knew their job and worked really hard to get the job done with as little interruption to us as possible. Tom came round initially to quote for the job, I had an estimate the next day and his team came to install the boilers a week later. We had a few minor issues with leaking toilets but they were fixed as a good will gesture, and I am eternally grateful. I know who I will be going to in future for all plumbing and heating work.
