** Update No1: In conversation with Trailertrek in order to resolving my issue. Will see how it goes. ** ** Update No2: TrailerTrek are willing to take a look but they will not come to my home location, out of their working area. They are willing to go to my caravan that’s sited but I’m only there on weekends and they don’t work weekends. So unable to compromise where I’m in work Monday to Friday. ** ** Update No3: ** An auto electrician is calling to my home to diagnose and fix the issue. If the auto electrician finds the problem and fixes it and as per the email received from Trailertrek they would be willing to cover my costs. I’m not being awkward just need my lights fixed as my MOT is due April. ** —————————————————— Well I don’t like leaving reviews or complaining but I had a tow bar fitted by these around 03/06/24 and since day one my rear fog lights on the car have never worked. If I plug in my caravan everything works fine on the van, lights, fogs etc but when unplugged I get no fog lights on the car. When the caravan is plugged in my fog light switch light works fine and stays on as normal. When the caravan is unplugged I have no car fog lights and the switch when pressed does not stay on and the light just flashes on then off. Very disappointed because I’ve called, txt and messaged the company and they come back with excuses after excuses after excuse saying it’s not their fault but the fog lights worked fine before the tow bar install. Wish I didn’t go to these now and left with a bill when I call out an auto electrician and my MOT is due April. Stay away.

I rang up mid December to make enquiries. Spoke with a knowledgeable lady (Marie?) who told me all I needed to know for the quote. Had a bit of banter. Rang back between Christmas and New Year to make an appointment. Spoke with the 'hands on' gaffer who confirmed everything. Had a bit of banter. I turned up in Coventry on a perishingly cold day to be welcomed by the engineers (and the gaffer) - drove straight in. Had a bit of banter. They rang me a couple of hours later; "Job done". Went back to collect and pay and received 10 minutes 'coaching' with a thorough explanation, demonstration and test procedure. Had a bit of banter. Courteous, efficient, pleasant and competitive throughout! With a bit of welcome banter. JOB'S A GOOD 'UN!

On a very cold frosty morning i had a removable swan neck tow-bar with 13 pin electrics fitted at work to my Ford Ecosport, i couldn't have been more impressed by Nick the engineer. He was very polite and professional and happy to explain things to me. He arrived on time and ensured everything was completed to my satisfaction before leaving. This company is very professional from start to finish. I filled my details in an online form and they came back to me with the best quote from five companies that I tried within 24 hours. The quote was for a detachable Swan neck towbar with dedicated Ellectrics for a Mercedes-Benz. Their engineer arrived dead on time, and fitted the new towbar, he had to remove the rear bumper and this was done in a first class manner and then replaced on the Car once he had fitted the new towbar living no signs at all that he done any work at all. He then went on to program the car with the dedicated Ellectrics so that when connected to the caravan it would turn off the parking sensors but leave the reverse camera on to assist in manoeuvering, I was well impressed. He opened a suitcase which had two rear lamps so that he could actually show me all the operations working perfectly brakes side lights , indicators, reverse light, et cetera. He then went through how to fit the detachable Swan Neck, And lock it in place, and how to remove it, he did this a couple of times to make sure that I understood, then he asked me to do it so that I was comfortable with the actions needed. All in all, it was one of the best experiences of having anything fitted on the car.

From booking to fitting i cannot recommend Trailer Trek enough. Nice easy booking process with a time period provided the day before and a call from Grant on the day when on route. Wayne was really polite and helpful in advising me as to what towbar was best for me. The price was really competitive. On the day the job was completed on time. The fitter then took time to explain how it all worked and demonstrated this. He even explained and showed the fuses involved incase of any future issues. I was given practical advice. I paid my deposit on a 13 pin electric system to fitted to my car for Wednesday morning my car had to be recovered to the garage on Saturday because of oil pressure problems it was bank holiday on Monday so I waited till Tuesday morning to inform them of problems and not too cancel but re book and I’ve been told I have lost my deposit and need to pay another deposit to book again 🤬🤬

Trailer Trek have just fitted a removable tow hitch to my Land Rover Defender PHEV. Their engineer turned up on time, and conducted himself in a very friendly and professional manner. Upon completion, I was given a full demonstration of the removable hitch, and was left with full operating instructions. The design and quality of the hitch is exceptional, and it is virtually invisible when not in use. Having contacted several tow bar specialists, Trailer Trek were excellent communicators and head and shoulders above their competitors.

I cannot speak highly enough regarding the service I have been provided with by Wayne and his team at Trailer Trek Coventry. In short, there was a problem with my car accepting the newly fitted towbar. Following extensive investigations by TT, and at additional cost to them, it was evident that the problem was with my newly acquired Landrover Discovery and not the towbar. The LR Dealer has now resolved the issue with the car. It was a great comfort for me, having the continued support of Wayne and his team throughout this process, specifically given that the problem wasn’t related to their work.

Trailertrek fitted a new wiring harness for 13 pin socket for me yesterday. I only spoke to them the day before, and the fitter arrived at 9am next day. I discovered a minor fault after he left, and another fitter arrived within 2 hours to fix it. Brilliant customer service, will use them again.
