Had a towbar plus electrics fitted today. Engineer arrived as arranged and got straight on with the job. He was a very pleasant chap and completed the job in around 1 1/2 hours. Good job, fair price, would definitely recommend.

With the hype of the caravan season that arrived this year, I found myself buying a caravan and then looking for a towbar company to help me tow it. I can honestly say this company was brill. They helped me understand the difference in the towbars for my vehicle and types that I can have fitted due to my manufacturers warranty which I didn’t even think about. Even with the chaos of the pandemic a lovely guy turned up at my home address and within less than 2 hours the detachable towbar and electrics was fitted. So so glad I found this company, would recommend it to anyone and infact already have. Thanks again

Recently had a detachable tow bar with electrics installed on my new ford Kuga. Very polite staff and fitter was great. Quick and easy booking process. Work was completed to a high standard and competitive price to. Highly recommended.

I would not recommend Trailer Trek at all. I have never known a company so petty and unprofessional. They threatened to leave negative reviews on MY business because they did not agree with the review my employee, who booked our tow bar, had left. They also threatened legal action against her …. not my idea of good customer service! They then kept calling my office requesting the review was deleted…. so here I am writing it myself, as they demanded. We have lost £235.00 deposit, despite the make, model and registration of the vehicle being correct. There was a simple misunderstanding over the use of the word ‘van’. We had arranged for a tow bar to be fitted to our flat-bed van, they thought it was a panel van. I double checked the confirmation email myself, it just said ‘van’ a commonly used term which I thought nothing of. The fitter arrived on time but left within 30 seconds after saying he had the wrong part. When I spoke to them on the phone shortly after they were completely unwilling to come to any compromise. I can appreciate that there are labour and travel costs involved and would have been willing to pay for this. However, £235.00 I think most people will agree is very excessive, especially considering they were returning the incorrect part for a refund!!! I have nothing at all to show for the money lost as I am unwilling to part with a deposit fee for a second time. Nearly all mechanic related businesses use your registration to source parts. Apparently this one doesn’t. They also insist on over half the cost as a non-refundable deposit when booking, which I have never had to do before. The emails I received from the company in response to our complaint were shocking, I would not risk using them in the future.

I had a deteachable towbar fitted to my car ,about six weeks ago with the designated wiring kit ,but I only got to test it this week after buying my trailer ,so I decided to review after testing ,this company could not of been better ,the fitter turned up early and witchin 2 hours had fully completed the job ,my towbar works perfectly ,this company talks you through the whole process beforehand making sure you are buying the correct towbar you require ,I will recommend and use again ,great service and nothing’s too much trouble ,they even made up my number plate for the trailer ,great job

Excellent service from the initial on line quote to fitting yesterday by Grant who was polite and respectful who just got on and did his job no hassle. Refreshing to actually get what you pay for so I have no hesitation recommending them in these uncertain times.

Did a fair bit of research and decided Trailertrek were for me. Filled in an online form and Mitchell rang back very quickly. Explained everything then and there and I placed the order. Paid 50% up front that is non-refundable, all explained. Had a query the next day and as Mitchell had provided a mobile number, I rang it, we chatted and issue sorted. Alex rocked up at 8:50 on the day and just got on with it. He had to put up with me hovering and asking questions which he answered fully as well as taking the time to explain a few things. Job completed very confidently and professionally in under 2 hours. Not sure why you'd go anywhere else. I wouldn't.

TrailerTrek's service is poor. My order consisted of detachable towbar with a number plate. The fitting of the towbar was fine but the number plate supplied was incorrect - obviously a translation error by Trailer Trek as my order confimation had the correct registration on it. I was promised, by the fitting technician, that a replacement one would be supplied asap - nothing arrived. Called TrailerTrek's office as I needed the plate for an imminent holiday and was promised that one would be put in the post to meet my departure date - nothing arrived, which left me without a legal bike rack, which was very frustrating. Called again, as nothing was on my doormat when I returned from vacation, and was promised a plate would be sent asap, again! 6 weeks have now gone by and still nothing. Poor service is one thing, not getting what you pay for is another.

We ordered the tow bar and agreed a fitting date. The man arrived on the day was very courteous and with care fitted the tow bar and checked that my cycle rack would have enough clearance which it did. Excellent job, highly recommended

I obtained 4 quotes for a tow bar to be fitted. TrailerTrek weren't the cheapest nor the most expensive. However they were the most thorough in their quote and very helpful when I called to run through some queries. I took my car to them for a 7.30am appointment. Unlike many places (ie on time) they were open before that got it all done within 2 hours. The fitters were very helpful and went through the process of detaching/re-attaching the towbar. No hesitation in recommending them. For clarity I was going to get it fitted at home but all the slots were booked for the dates I wanted.

The service I received from TrailerTrek was excellent. From my first telephone call to them I could tell they were a professional team, and seemed more knowledgeable than three other companies I contacted. On the day of the fitting Alex turned up exactly on time, completed the job and left his workspace completely clean. He then took the time to explain how it all worked, including showing me how to fit the cycle carrier. I have no hesitation in recommending them.

This was my second use of Trailertrek, after having a good experience the first time. The engineer was great and helpful but the day after fitting, the car developed various warning lights. I reported to the company who investigated and told me that a coding problem that needed correction and would need engineer back. I waited for a couple of weeks until back in my area but on inspection, they discovered this was due to a blown fuse and that I had to pay a call out charge. At no point did they mention this could be the issue on the phone (which the onsite engineer thought was obvious explanation) and whilst they focused on the "terms and conditions", there were immediately pretty unreasonable to speak with. In the end, just paid up. Field engineer great but after sales customer service and communication over the phone severely lacking!

Having rang round a few towbar fitters I opted for Trailertrek mainly because of the competitive price and friendly chat over the phone discussing my requirements...Alex fitted my towbar and as I had only had my car a couple of weeks I was nervous letting anyone near it but Alex instilled confidence and professionalism that I’m now very happy with the towbar and can thoroughly recommend Trailertrek!

I have used this company 2 times now and both times they have been very professional in every way. I would highly recommend and no doubt I’ll will use again 👍🏼

Rang the office, gave me a wait of 3 weeks but with all the madness in the world at moment i was ok with. On the day of fitting rang them they said mid morning came about 10.30 am, no fuss no perlaver, got on with his job, had little chat very approachable man finished in less than 2hrs all done all tested couldn't ask for anymore brilliant 👍👍👍👍

22/5/2020 Just had our second detachable dedicated electrics toe bar fitted by Trailer Trek the first to a Citroen Picasso C4 This one to a Ford Kuga , On both occasions we had excellent service the fitter was polite courteous professional and efficient This is backed up by excellent communication and guidance from the Trailer trek office We can thoroughly recommend their service

This is the 3rd towbar this company has fitted for me. They have completed a removable one today on my VW Touareg. Their work is excellent, they are always prompt and service over the phone is excellent. Their prices are always the cheapest. You wouldn’t know they had been. Also very fast fitting service considering how big a job it is. Cannot fault this company and would definitely recommend as they do a great job.

Had detachable tow bar fitted in Feb 2020. The service from start to finish was smooth and completely trouble free. fast accurate quote and fitting at Coventry workshop. Really happy with quality of work and the towbar itself. Would highly recommend Trailertrek.
