Confined at home with illness, I was so pleased that Laywines responded so swiftly to send me what I needed for my writing needs. I know from having shopped there in person that they would have what I needed, and was especially grateful for their prompt attention. I went to pick up an online order during the time set out in the confirmation email. The pickup times were wrong in the email they sent me. I went to the store about five minutes after it had closed at 6pm but still within the pick up times noted in the confirmation email. There were three people working in the store- a man with a briefcase who locked the door in my face and didn't acknowledge me and a woman behind the counter who didn't look up at me as I was standing outside the locked door, both of whom came across quite rude. There was a younger man who came to the door to help and was nice when he saw the email and confirmed it was shopify's mistake in the email. It was an uncomfortable experience. I buy all my pens and ink here and I don't really want to come back based on this interaction and I'll be looking for a new supplier.

My order arrived within a few days and was exactly what I wanted. The handwritten note was a lovely touch and the packing of the glass bottles of ink was meticulous and aesthetically pleasing. Laywine's remains my all-time favourite pen, paper and stationery store.

Order arrived quickly, in perfect condition, and with a lovely hand written note that reminds us how nice it is to have a human touch to an online purchase. I will definitely shop here again, and recommend Laywines to all my friends🙂

My online order was requested for next day delivery and it was already on its way within an hour of purchase arriving perfectly on time. It was beautifully packaged and presented and accompanied by a personal note. The product was as described and I'm enjoying it immensely. This was my first purchase from Laywine's; it won't be my last.

The pen is perfect - it writes smoothly with a subtle feedback which I really enjoy. The weight of the pen is great for daily use as well as calligraphy practicing. Laywine's did such a great job with the packaging, there was also an elegantly hand-written note in the box. I appreciate these details. The ink cartridge came with the pen didn't seem to work but the ink converter was great, I filled up the converter and the pen writes instantly.

Don't ever go superfine. If you are having trouble reafing your own writing (why I bought superfine ) get back to writing carefully and slowly

My whole experience from ordering was very smooth. Thought the attached note was a very special touch. This pen is amazing and would definitely recommend.

The staff were super helpful and friendly! I order a pen online and accidentally selected shipping instead of in-store pick-up so I emailed them and they were very quick to respond. Within an hour they switched the delivery option and refunded me the shipping cost. The store itself was very nice and I’m very happy about the pen I got!
