I ordered the wrong sized agenda for my agenda sleeve over a weekend. Besides my not realizing until Sunday, sending an email and leaving a voicemail off hours; my mistake was still caught and being taken care of before I was able to confirm. I ordered the agenda I needed and returned the wrong one with very little hassle. Also, the staff is so charming it's almost overwhelming.

I have no complaint against Laywine's, which agreed to give me a limited credit because I broke some parts It is this particular product that was so disappointing. I do not see how a retractable fountain pen like this will be enjoyed by the user. The nib is scratchy. Because it is retractable, it is exposed to air and this dries the nib out Loading the cartridge did not lend itself to easy reassembly due to a monstrous flimsy spring. There is a gadget that is supposed to aid in removing the clip. It does not work. The pushbutton is unusually long and would tend to stick way up in your pocket. All in all a poor design by Pilot.

Laywine’s offers a beautiful selection of products on a very pleasant and easy to navigate website. As it was my first purchase, I had a question concerning shipping so I used the queries’ feature via email and was answered promptly; I then placed my order (early October). I received my beautiful 2022 Japanese Woodblocks prints desktop calendar within a day or two. The packaging was excellent: the calendar was well protected, the packaging material recyclable, and it came with a personalized note. I have purchased this same themed calendar for close to 10 years on Amazon, and shipping often had delays or it was not available until January. I am glad I found Laywine’s - who holds the Cavallini desk and wall calendars’ collection - and it’s based in my own country, Canada. This is a lovely store and my first impression is very favourable. I will certainly keep it on my radar for gifts and for myself.
