Purchase a necklace online which was 3 inches shorter than advertised. The string was crocked and pearls not aligned. Multiple requests to return are ignored. No communication from 1st Dibs or the seller.

The 1stDibs is a great and easy-to-navigate platform for unique and top-quality goods. I drooled over a pair of coral earrings until my husband purchased them as my Christmas goodie. The transaction was perfect in every way. From the first contact with the seller (Virginia) to the delivery, which arrived earlier than expected. Inside a strong and well-padded box was a delightful, ribboned box holding earrings that were even lovelier than the photograph suggested. Thank you. I'm over the moon.

They attempted to Steal £7,700 from my card! Thankfully the card blocked them. They are rude, arrogant and do not care one wit about their suppliers or customers. They attempted to charge my card for the commission of 5 orders which they suspected had been taken off their platform - this was totally false. It's boarding on a scam!

Estimated duty and taxes cost would be greatly helpful in deciding offer price to seller.

Was offered 25% discount if I used code BRIGHT25 before 12/15. I tried to use this code however an error displayed saying the code was invalid or expired. This baiting email cost me $150. Inclined not to visit again.

I advise buyers to do a right-click on the image (perform image search) to find in 99% of the cases the same item at least 20-30% cheaper. Plus you help out the seller, who is in most cases passionate about their business and will be glad to deal with you directly. Normally the shipping is much quicker, and you are actually speaking with a real person! 1stDibs is screwing their vendors, and they don't even try to hide it. In the last year they send us twice fake invoices, since they "suspect" that we took a sale offline so to save the customer the huge % markup they take. Literally lies. Next time we will let it go to small claims court. My advice: Read through the real reviews, not the "invited" ones they are only there to mask the reality.
