The booking was easy and cheap. I got the room in the hotel. So everything was fine for me

Two days before our interstate flight my husband became seriously ill and was rushed into hospital, where he now remains one week later. I tried to contact Elvoline to cancel our booking without success and sent a "contact" message to which I received no response or acknowledgement. The day before we were supposed to fly, I contacted the hotel and found that they still expected us and had not heard that we had cancelled. On the day of the booking the hotel staff had still not heard from Elvoline and I gave up trying to contact them. I would not advise anyone to use this booking service as they were quick to take our money and run without providing any service. This simply added to my stress and I have been unable to tell my husband about our bad and costly experience as he remains too ill to cope with the news.

Your market place provides us to find very good value properties to make our travel dollars go further. We will book with Evoline in the future!

The booking was through a booking agent. The agent took a 30% booking fee. So the hotel only got two thirds of the price I paid. The booking agent was some Chinese (or similar) company. Had I booked direct with the hotel, the hotel would have got what. I paid in full. I will do that in future. Booking.com take a small commission but nothing like 30%.

Primero salía un precio, me cobraron uno mayor. En el hotel volvieron a cobrarme extra por unos "impuestos" no cobrados en la página, nunca más compro por esta vía, si hay algo que me molesta es pagar algo y que ese precio no sea el real. Por lo demás, por el precio, fui a un hotel en donde el desayuno era malo y la gente entreba en la mañana a ver si podía hacer el aseo contigo adentro durmiendo, vistiendo te, etc... Malo
