I was very pleased with how easy the process was. Everything was handled in a very professional and caring manner. I was kept informed along the way about how things were progressing. Also it meant a lot to be able to close the loan at my residence. The disbursement of funds was on time. So overall I am very happy with American Financing and their employees. This was my second experience with this company. I had a really good experience the first time and that is why I went back to them the second time. A great thanks to Joseph Podwika for all he did. Everyone I was in communication with did a superb job at keeping me informed every step of the way. When I had a question they went out of their way to make sure it got answered and that I felt comfortable with the answer. John Winters and I talked so much that I even started answering the phone by saying, "this call may be recorded as always". We both always got a laugh out of that. Their customer service is horrible when you call and make a payment. It’s absolutely horrible!!! They talk over you saying you can’t even speak to somebody about your account. NO MANAGER IS AVAILABLE!!! Please please save your money and time and do not do not go back their!!!!!!

When we first called we spoke to someone who set up a time to visit with us about our refi. That person did not keep the appointment. We recontacted the company and was told that person had moved on. When Tony & Andrea took over things went smoothly. My only complaint is the lack of trust from the underwriters, such as having to contact our insurance co to prove we owned our cabin property when all they had to do was look at our credit report which showed what we owed on everything else.

This was a very pleasant and easy experience refinancing my home. They always responded to my questions quickly. Alicia and Shane are great!!
