We chose AF because Glenn Beck is a spokesperson & theres that. We have been repairing our credit, saving, researching and were happy that we were finally going to buy our home to make things easier on us. Our 17 year old son is autistic. Us owning a home of our own was going to be really nice. Planned on getting chickens, a goat or 2, & really enjoy our family. We were given false information several times. No one seemed to have any answers Every time I asked about something, Michael Toth, a loan person there, would default to "underwriting " . When asked about underwriting, he stammered that was their process of verifying income, employment, etc. They had our file 6 weeks. It doesn't make sense that they wouldn't have verified anything. Micheal was exceedingly condescending. They seemed glad when I told them I would need to look for another loan for results. My son is crushed as are my wife & me. They also had us pay a $300.00 disputed old bill that was near falling off credit. American Financing has good spokespeople. That's it! They dont care about my family. I will spend much time attempting to reach Beck with this. We received no call from management or anything. Just wasted time and $300.00. We are literally sick over this

We enjoyed the experience and the customer service. However, along the way, what was revealed in the documents I signed Electronically was different at the closing, regarding the amount of the house payment While this would not make us not recommend American Financing it was somewhat disappointing. More information would have been helpful, but the experience overall was good

They sat on my refi for over a month with no action. 72 hours before closing I signed off on the closing details and agreed to a set monthly payment. 48 hours from closing the insurance company called and said I had to agree to higher insurance coverage in order to close. Then 24 hours before closing American Financing called and said in order to close they had to add on more cost which in total increase my monthly payments by $170 after the signed agreed amount.

I have dealt with other companies over the years... none have compared The experience was so good ,the persons all have been easy work with... it's so rare in this world we live in.Mike Spence was so easy to talk to and I am a challenge for sure lol The process is completely done from their end ... I am pleased as punch ... my payments are so much more affordable... I am an older gal , so I was used to more honest and helpful experiences... it's like the good ol days ... sincerely D.D.

Eric has been phenomenal in helping me with this loan. My wife leans heavy on caution and I thought it impossible to get her on board with clearing up our credit card debt. I had concerns as well of being scammed but Eric put me at ease and was a very big help in getting my wife on board. No high pressure sales. He was very easy and gentle on her and won her over. Very professional and had the right answers at the right time. Eagle Scout quality. Very rare in today’s world. A definite keeper!
