Pay is not what it should be for work required. At at least for me.

Flying for DroneBase has been a very great experience of mine. They supply us pilots with all the Instructions/Information for each site that are very detailed and they are always easy to contact if needed on a job. Being able to fly with DroneBase not only has helped me gain experience into the world of Aerial Photography but it has been a great source of income as well!

I just finished my first job with Dronebase, and got paid promptly. Highly recommend.

Excellent speed and service!

When I first signed up for DroneBase it took quite a while before I heard from them. But once I did, I started receiving more available missions. I found that I had to act fairly quickly to get those missions, however, because I was having trouble with their App on my Samsung S10. I realized that other pilots must be snatching them up before I had a chance to accept. It looks like they fixed a few of those types of issues because I am able to access the missions more readily. Each mission is spelled out to remove any confusion and if I have a question about the expectation of each picture required, DroneBase adds a link to help me understand how the pictures need to be taken. At first I was trying to Upload the assets through my phone but found that I had more success using my Desktop. Overall, I think my experience with DroneBase is very positive. I love the challenge and it only adds to my expertise as a Drone Pilot. Oh, and the money is a good thing too.

Instructions are clear and easily understandable. So there shouldn’t be any doubt as to what their client wants the drone pilot to capture.

Still not worth the pay. So complicated to work with for very little pay. They have the strictest tolerances for weather and time slots, yet their pay in no way reflects all the challenges of working with them. Several email exchanges requiring you to type some nonsense like "eye in the sky" or "inspire" when you have already went through several steps on the website.

Fast and easy! Couldn’t ask for a better product as a CBRE Broker.

My only complaint is I'd like to see more missions in my area but that's not Dronebase's fault. They are great to do work for. Quick response everytime I've ever needed assistance.

Every experience I have had with DroneBase and the pilots has been very positive.

I have completed a few missions for Dronebase and it is legit. The training is fairly straightforward, although it does have some contradictory information that can be frustrating. This being said, I have had no issues completing jobs and getting paid for them. The shot list they give you is clear and usually payment is available within a couple of hours of submitting the required photos. I'm hoping more missions become available now that I have some experience with them. My only complaint would be that I'd like to do more work for them.

While I sometimes do not mind working with DroneBase, it seems to me that Dronebase has become the Uber for drone pilots. The pay is quite pathetically low and sometimes not even close to minimum wage when factoring in the costs of running a business. I know some DroneBase pilots are doing this as a side job when available but for someone who has created their own business and runs a full-time year round business, the pay is quite insulting. There also seems to be no pilot priority or ranking system, just a first come first serve system that pays as little as possible to get a job done.

I’ve been a Dronebase pilot for about a year now,I enjoy making a little extra cash working for Dronebase. The only complaint I have is there doesn’t seem to be very many client missions in my area. The ones that I have done so far have been 1 1/2 to 2 hours away. Looking forward to flying closer client missions in the future.

Great app and support staff. It has given me the experience needed to properly access homes for insurance claims and perform commercial real estate photography and videography.

Great way to make a little money on the side. Reliable as long as you follow the guidelines given. Fly safe out there!

Great company, awesome training videos, super way to augment your income and have some incredible fun flying as well! I have been with Dronebase as a contract Pilot for 5yrs now!

Not enough work. Very very low and insulting pay rates offered on missions.
