Dronebase is a great entity to work with. I absolutely enjoy and look forward to every mission, detail, and task required to bring quality/satisfaction to all clients and parties involved. I would definitely recommend pilots and others to be apart of an exquisite organization.

Honest, fair, attentive, professional DB team follow-up, badge privileges provide clarity to mission expectations and flight standards. Mission clients are sophisticated, cooperative and appreciative of reliable service. Room for improvement in mission frequency, volume and compensation for time invested, though it is acceptable and promotes efficiency. Appreciate the opportunities DB provides, this is a good place to gain practical experience for commercial sUAS pilots willing to commit to professional standards.

Having worked with D-Base now for 2 years, these are my experiences... Insanely low pay. (5 building roof inspections, $120) Inconsistent pay schedule vs project scale. (e.g. 4 buildings $120... 8 buildings, also $120) Late payments - used to be paid withing 7 days of completion. Now 2+ weeks Few jobs offered - 2-3 jobs per week in a major metro area. Not 2-3 per pilot. 2-3 jobs to spread among dozens of pilots in the system. Edit: They seem to have fixed the problem with the pay rate. It used to be $120 no matter what the job was. Now they knocked it down to $70 for three roof inspections (about a 45 minute job +drive time 30 min+ upload time, 30 min). Still $120 for 8, but at least it's fixed so it's not the same amount for different amounts of work. Ha ha ha. Also I shot for a realtor this weekend. $150 for 15 photos.

Experienced and professional staff. It's great to be part of the remote pilot team! App is user friendly, and the blog is full of information.

Great app and service. Sometimes logistics on their end get bogged down and communication deteriorates causing issues for pilots and I’m sure clients as well. But great service and team of people overall!

I have previously given DroneBase 5 star reviews, but recently the missions they are selling are not well thought out (assigning multiple commercial buildings as 1 and under charging as well as selling missions in NO FLY ZONES actually on airport property!) and to add insult to injury, the payments that used to be processed promptly, now take a minimum of 2 weeks because DroneBase has instructed their payment provider not to promptly process payments to pilots (according to a quote from their payment provider).

DroneBase has been extremely helpful in our line of business and their ability to perform missions quickly with a high quality product is the reason we continue to use them. Highly recommend DroneBase!

The Dronebase network provides me with additional missions to supplement my existing drone service based business. I've been a pilot with Dronebase since 2017 and have the my comments broken down into a list or pros and cons below. Pros: 1. Well documented missions with clear deliverables. 2. A great support team that answers emails quickly 7 days a week. 3. A great web interface for pilots to upload mission assets. 4. Prompt payments for jobs completed. Cons: 1. Lower than average pilot pay for time spent on site. About 20% to 40% lower based on typical pricing in my market. 2. Less than stellar mobile apps with preferential development for iOS. There are approximately 2.5 billion android devices in the world and approximately 900 million iOS devices in the world. It's unfortunate that development is so unbalanced at Dronebase. 3. Missions are assigned on a first to accept basis with no priority given to pilots with more experience or time with Dronebase. I enjoy flying for Dronebase and believe, based on nearly 3 years of experience, they are as close to the perfect pilot network as possible with only a few minor exceptions.

Flying commercially for DroneBase is a breeze. They provide the client and you provide the equipment and services. Each mission has been clearly defined and easy to understand. Payment has always been very timely. I highly recommend DroneBase from a pilots perspective.

DroneBase offers detailed trainings prior to missions to participate on, timely assistance and payment upon completion. Always room for improvement such as when working / communicating with new software / app partners like DroneDeploy, yet always building my skill set as a licensed pilot.

I enjoy working with DroneBase overall, however seems that I always (two missions) have issues with the app. I accepted a mission this last time and wasn't aware of the training mission required and scheduled the paying mission as soon as possible. Then I got an email requiring a training mission that the first time that it would allow me to schedule the training mission was one hour prior to my live mission. I have yet to be able to properly "check in and check out" as required within the app. The first time, there was no option to do either and this last time I checked in, but no option to check out. Which then gets you emails telling you that you should do this. It's frustrating because, it isn't that I'm trying to cut corners or anything, but when the options aren't there, there is nothing you can do about it. I also fly with a DJI Smart Controller, which isn't compatible with your app. First mission I re-syned everything to the original controller and worked way through the mission, this last one I was given permission to use the Smart Controller. I have the latest and for the most part greatest equipment, but yet there are issues. It isn't my nature to do a job that has issues. Would love to see better method to complete the process as well as method to use the Smart Controller without special permission as it is a much better process for those of us that fly with one daily.

At my convenience I finished the mission and submitted the pictures that were requested. I got paid immediately. I just wish it was directly paid to paypal. Other than that the app is user friendly and simple.
