I bought an 11 years old red Mercedes SLK, although the condition was great but there were a few chips on the car I wanted to paint over. Not sure how to get the perfect color to match and I was very fortunate to come across Chipex! I simply entered my registration number and the exact match was delivered and it wasn’t hard to do it either. YouTube the tutorial and off I went. The result was amazing.

I had a large chip and didn’t get the finish I was expecting. I’d say use this for small chips only. The blending solution would remove too much paint if I did it too soon, or remove no paint at all if I left it longer. Attempted several times and settled with a rough cover up.

Great product with guaranteed match for colour. Easy to use instructions for customers and more than enough paint for chips and small scratches.

WOW, this company has saved me a fortune, I saw the kit read the reviews, and thought what do I have to lose. The kit arrived quickly the instructions are clear and you get everything you need. 45 minutes and my rash of stone chips on the bonnet of my 15 year old car have all but disappeared. The paint match is perfect, and so easy to do. It was my first attempt and as my car has many marks, over 100,000 miles I am sure I will get better. All I can say is thank you to Chipex and I highly recommend the company and the product - take your time read the instructions and don’t rush you will be impressed with the results

I don't often leave reviews however I feel compelled to this time. I purchased a large Chipex Kit for my VW Transporter and was having difficulty getting the pearlescent paint to cover the chips. I wrote an email to ask for any advice. The response was super quick and the company went over and above to ensure I had the items to complete the project. Awesome service. Thank you!!

I ordered from another shop with the same color code and it was spot on in contrast of what I got from chipex and with a much better price. Would not recommend.

This product is not for normal car scratches but for very small, less than 1-3mm long. I bought the kit and tried it yesterday and today. Sadly, the product is not what I expected, nor did it work. Could you clarify how you interpret this feedback? I have followed your instructions and others online, but I need help getting it to work. I have minor to long and deep scratches, and I tried them all to see if it was down to size, which is not the case. I have included pictures of my scratches, one before and one after the results after many tries for 6 hours to days, which are still the same. Also, as you can see in one of the photos, the paint is quite different, even though I used the exact colour code during the purchase. This falls to what the product can and can't do. There are limitations on the size of repair your product can do so others can avoid being tricked into buying something that won't work. This can work for scratches/chip stones from 1-3mm long and anything behind that will not work. It's a waste of my time and money, to be honest.

I’m actually pretty blown away by how well this kit works, incredible results so far and I’ll be working my way around some deep chips soon! The photos I’ve posted elsewhere don’t even come close to doing this justice- to the eye these are almost invisible. I’ll be recommending this to anyone who’s looking to get their car more presentable. A good 90% of the small dotted chips are one hit and done too!

The kit arrived quickly, which is a definite plus. The kit itself is rather disappointing for the price; a selection of mini cotton-buds are supplied to apply the paint, rather than a decent quality brush. Other than the touch-up paint itself, the rest of the kit is just a small bottle of white spirit, and some cloths. Granted it is attractively packaged The results, after following the instructions to the letter, are spectacularly mediocre. A triumph of marketing over quality.

Wow I’m really impressed with this kit! I’m loving the result. I thought I’d struggle doing this myself but it was so easy and clear to follow. Thank you for making this achievable at home for such a good price.

Annoyed to get some stone chips after recent purchase of relatively new car Found takes a few applications to get a decent result but pleased with the overall result What I liked about the product is you can try try try again without completely ballsing things up

Colour mix and instructions were perfect

Pleasantly surprised, I was pretty skeptical how well it’d actually work. After using it for a couple of months it’s easy to forget where I’ve actually filled any chips and deep scratches. It doesn’t come off with a jet wash rinse or cleaning solutions and seems to withstand anything once it’s on. Colour matching is spot on and it’s super easy to use. Highly recommend, definitely saves you a few quid on mobile chip repairers etc.

Was skeptical about this product at first, and even on application of the product but it left amazing results for a 1/3 of what a repair shop would charge, colour match was spot on!
