Tried Chipex for damage on car roof and although not perfect it is far better than it was. Treated area with a rust preventer as it had gone down to metal. Colour match is good. Price is very good compared to traditional paint sticks. Everything you need in the kit. From order to delivery was 36 hours

I've used Chipex on my car and on my microlight aircraft, and on both I've been really pleased with the results. The car had suffered 8 years of stone chips (mostly from grit in the Scottish Borders), it took me over 4 hours to slowly work through each of the, but the results were stunning. Sure, if you look closely, you can see some imperfections, but from a couple of feet away it looks like a new car. Makes cleaning it far more rewarding. The plane had suffered a deep 5 cm long gouge in the paint back to the fibreglass from a stud in a passenger's boot. It has taken maybe 15 careful applications to build up the layers, and I'm not quite finished, but areas of it have now disappeared. Prior to this I had used manufacturer touch up sticks with horrid unpleasant results; Chipex is utterly different and I will be using it as first choice from now on.

Chipex Pro package arrived and contained all the correct items. Scuffing under my door handle consisted of a number of scuffs/chips. Tried a different touch-up a year ago with poor finish and had worn away. Couple of attempts with Chipex paint and patience with blending solution and cloth, but the end result is as better than you could expect from a normal touch-up.

Very easy to deal with. Simple to find your car colour. Good quality product that works well.

I thought I'd give your product a try after seeing all the ads. All I can say is why did I wait so long. I had a few chips on the bonnet which have come up good but the biggest issue was 3 days after picking the car up 3 years ago a chipped the rear drivers side door. Can't believe how well that has come up with how deep the chip was. Admittedly did have to do a few applications of the paint but that's to be expected to fill in a chip that size. Awesome product.

Used Chipex for the first time today great bit of kit, colour match was 100% , so easy to use. Highly recommended. 5 star.

I have looked at chipex before and other products but decided to go for chipex and was the best choice I could have made, unfortunately clipped my door with my watch and scored it but thankfully managed to make it practically invisible, took a wee bit of time trying to get it right but the end result was worth it

The Paint etc is brilliant and very easy to use. The only fault I find is that the little paint applicators you have to use to put the paint on are not very efficient. Would be better with brushes. I have tried both and the brushes are easier to use and leaves you with a far better finish. Paint brushes win by a mile

Great customer service, bog standard product. Probably just go back to normal touch up paint next time as I don't believe this is worth the price bump. Firstly, having attempted a handful of repairs now the paint match was spot on. The paint seems to be of a high quality so far and is holding up on repaired spots although they are only a few weeks old. The problems in my experience arrive in the application process. Chipex are selling this kit on the proviso that it essentially removes the time consuming prep (filling) and post-paint (sanding if needed, polishing etc.) steps. But this isn't the case in my experience. Only on 1 out of the 5 repairs I've carried out was the dilution mixture of any use at all. The others I had to give up using the process outlined in the instructions included in the kit and revert to using the paint just as bog standard touch up paint (deeper pits and chips need filling, then painting, then flatting and polishing). No matter how much you use, the solution and provided cloth will pull 90% of the paint out of the pit or chip if you follow their drying instructions. On 4 repairs, I went for 5 or 6 retries per repair. Same thing every time. Either the solution is too strong or does nothing or the cloth grips and pulls the blob of paint straight out of the hole. I even tried doubling the suggested drying time (this is the UK after all) - same result. The solution either removes nothing or all of it. Another minor gripe is that at £30+ for the basic kit, I can't see the value when you often need to repeat the steps you would with a normal £10(?) tube of touch up paint. You get one pair (in theory - in the tub) of 50p latex gloves, less than 10 plastic paint sticks (can't imagine they're more than 5p each), the paint, some solution, a small tube of basic polish and two very cheap cloths. The paint removal cloth is a bit of a gripe for me - in theory you would hope that this would be a very fine, non-shedding cloth like a tack or similar that doesn't leave anything on the surface or in the paint but in my experience if you don't use enough solution it leaves lint.... in the wet paint.... highly frustrating. I expected more of the cost to be in the solution and the application/removal cloth with is basically just a cheap, branded screen wipe cloth (not even a good, really tight weave one like you would get with new sunglasses). Overall, the paint is fine. But right now it feels like a very very expensive tube of touch up paint and a collection of random household items I could buy on eBay for about £3.

I have used Chipex for several years on several different cars and colors. Color match is spot on and application along with instructions are simple and very effective. Their products are all that they claim!

Came quickly I the post n matched the colour perfectly. I have 2003 porsche in race yellow. Was cautious at first but easy to use with great results

This system looked very professional and found easy to use and was very happy with the results. You get a pot of paint to match your car, a blending solution to remove excess paint (or start again which i did a few times😊 ) and then a polish compound to finish it off. It is easy to use just take your time and don't rush.

Great match and products, i just wish i did this before my machine polish and ceramic coating.

I have used Chipex to repair some minor stone chips on my vehicle. Firstly, the paint colour match was perfect as I have struggled in the past with other companies. Secondly, the process is simple, but I can’t get a 100% fix. If you look closely (very closely) you can make out where I have repaired it, but it’s much more cost effective than having a professional repair done. I’d highly recommend this product and I would buy this again in the future.

I had several chips in the paintwork caused by birds on my bonnet. After seeing other reviews I decided to buy a CHIPEX repair kit. The ordering process was easy and my kit was delivered in a couple of days. The kit came with simple instructions and there are also YouTube videos to help. I had quite deep scratch on my car and had a few others Mark that need touching up so gave their repair kit go. Have to say i was really impressed. The paint was an exact match and really improved the deep scratch And the smaller surface level marks complete disappeared! Definitely use again in future if I get any more Marks.

Fantastic paint match on my red Punto! Looks like it did fresh out of the factory, really had to see the results to believe it!

Fast delivery, Colour match to the car was spot on and made a massive difference to the overall finish on the car. Only downside was I ordered additional blender and cloths - the cloths were totally different material and were totally useless compared to the original ones that come with the kit.
