Excellent product, perfect colour match BMW X1 Phytonic Blue, would highly recommend !

Clear instructions. Perfect colour match. Full material within kit. Yes, Chipex are relatively expensive, but this is outweighed by their complete care package. I guess that my only request would be for an aerosol spray to deal with larger areas...

Purchased a kit to try on a small scratch on a rear passenger door on my Porsche Cayenne as the quote to fix was £800 to have the door re sprayed. Excellent colour match and result after two applications as the scratch was quite deep.

I’ve actually been a Chipex user for a number of years (circa 14-15!) after a recommendation on a car forum. It has since become a must buy for each of the cars we have had since. Recently I bought one of the ‘new’ style kits in a fully branded drum (in the ‘old days’ they came in an unbranded flat cardboard box!) to repair some light damage to our local Scout Groups minibus. As ever, colour match perfect and no blobby mess like you tend to get with manufacturer or high street accessory shop touch up pens. Can take a couple of attempts to master (however any mistakes can be wiped away with blending solution or polished off - leaving you ready to try again). Each kit contains plenty of paint and additional consumables such as the micro brushes and blending solution. If they run out, they are easily purchased at moderate cost to use again and again in years to come. Where Chipex differs for me is the flexibility of use and the viscosity of the paint mixture, apply with micro brushes or on lighter surface scratches over a wider area even a microfibre cloth - yes it’s that viscous and blend and polish back the excess. On the one occasion where I had an issue (out of circa 7 cars worth of kits/paint over the years) customer service was fast and responsive in reaching an agreeable outcome. Have used on both flat and metallic paintwork and worked effectively on both. Colours from Flat black, metallic black, red, light metallic grey, dark blue across a range of ages and vehicle manufacturers and all have matched in nicely.

I was unlucky to get a rather large stone chip on my bonnet, Chipsaway wanted £420 to respray the whole bonnet or £108 to do a mobile repair. For £36 Chipex sent me a kit, it’s simple to use and the results are amazing, the paint matched perfectly.

……product I’ve found to date. I find it works best on small chips but you really need to follow the instructions and if the weather’s cold the paint takes quite a bit longer to dry than it states. Blend it too early and you’ll undo (rub-out) what you’ve touched up. The paint match is excellent and overall I’ve filled chips on the bonnet that I have to look hard to find! The product’s pricey but you get (my opinion) what you pay for. I’d buy it again!

Not that good to be fair. I expected a much better result, I would have been better with some touch up paint and a cocktail stick, would have saved around £22. Update........... After the Chipex reply I did exactly what was asked and emailed them..............no reply 🤣🤣

Suffered a really deep stone chip on the bonnet of my Jag F Type which 3 repair specialists wouldn’t even consider repairing. Purchased the small repair kit from Chipex and followed the instructions as well as watching a couple of repairs on YouTube. The result was good but the colour match wasn’t correct. I contacted Chipex and they sent a replacement bottle and applicators out the same day. Filled and blended the chip and I’m really impressed with the result! Unless you know where the chip is you wouldn’t notice it. Highly recommend this product.

Order was delivered nice and quick. Instructions were clear. Unfortunately the paint wasnt a great match (it was a little darker). It took some practice to be able to fill the chips to be nice, flat and level. Not a bad result in the end, but not great either

This is the second purchase and it still impressive how easy it is apply .Once again the finish is brilliant and unnoticeable. The guide is easy to use but there all also loads on you tube should you need a visual reference on how to apply .outstanding.

No worry about matching like the old days. Such a simple process to order and fast delivery. Follow the instructions and the result is amazing

Easy to use with great results

Was initially impressed with all the reviews and videos I watched but in real life a little disappointed. I purchased kit for my silver BMW whilst the colour match is good and followed the instructions to the letter along with tutorial videos I touched up some small stone chips first I am now on my third attempt to fill the chip’. It’s not a one hit wonder as thought.

Bought a kit for one car, the touch up was perfect. It does take a little time to get an excellent result, well worth the cost and the effort. Have now bought different paint colour for other cars. Very easy online transaction and fast delivery.

Brilliant product, wish I had known about it years ago. I have a “fridge white” non metallic white car, honestly can’t see where the stone chip was after use..

Colour match was good .just not as easy as you see in video/pictures followed instructions .but.not as easy as it looks .not something I would purchase again.better off saving your money and get chips away to do .

Although i didn't apply this, a professional did. He commented on the match of paint which was excellent and overall quality very good indeed. Did the job perfectly I didn't do it myself- because I'm hopeless with anything like this but was impressed by the comments made and the finish is excellent
