I was recommended this by a person in The Trade for a chip on the edge of my bonnet. I checked the web site and decide on the larger size as the self life is longer. The kit arrived promptly and with the easy to follow instructions it was easy to use, There is no longer a chip on the edge of the bonnet and the colour match was perfect, now to tackle the stone chips next, excellent 👌

Watched tutorial followed steps as laid out and result was excellent.Easy to order , would recommend to anyone.

Simple to use

Of course, it all looks better than having white stone chips on a dark grey car but, the colour is a bit darker than the original and having tried many different drying times (from 30 seconds to 20 minutes - way longer than advised) I just could not get a smooth finish (even building up layers). To be honest, a bit disappointing.

Whilst the product was good, (fast working paint). The applicators were little more than fancy cotton buds. These were not as easy to apply as brushes and prone to 'blobs'. Relying on you trying to merge this into existing paintwork. The system also doesn't provide a proper top coat finish to protect the paint application as others do. Not for everyone.

The product was delivered very quickly. The colour match was excellent and the overall result was very good.

I initially thought I was going to have to repaint panels on my BMW K1200s motorbike due to scratches and stone chips. However I thought I had nothing to lose by trying Chipex. The bike is now looking better than it has in years and the repairs are impossible to see. I now recommend chipex to everyone, it is simple to use and the results speak for themselves.

Absolute waste of money. This is nothing more than normal car paint and a thinners. When you wipe it off everything comes off. After trying 5 times I gave up. Save your money and don't buy this.

A full kit of all that is required to correct minor paint blemishes is provided with ample perfectly colour matched paint to carry out many paint stone chips ot scratches etc. The instructions are clear and easy to follow and you can with a little care achieve a professional result. I have seen no other comparable product on the openmarket

A few stone chips on White Tesla, chipex touch up kit is ideal for novices to do a near professional repair without the cost. For deep chips you need to build up by applying one coat at a time. Following instructions supplied is straightforward but there are videos on you tube that can be followed for a confidence boost before starting repairs. One piece of advice is have patience and be patient do it over a couple of days if need be don’t rush for perfection cause it won’t happen.

I have/had quite a few stone chips on my Bonnet & bumper, and researched Inc asking on motor sites which product to use & although chipex wasn't the cheapest I still decided on this product (which was on 15% offer). Having watched a few short videos on YouTube I started to fill in the stone chips (some quite deep). It takes around 40 mins to move from stage 1 to stage 2. I added more to the bad chips. The result is fantastic, honestly you can't see some repairs, it's not hard to follow or do. The procedure is straightforward. I will only use this product for stonechips now. (My car is metallic black). This came with 36hrs of ordering too. 100% recommend this product. Dave

Purchased kit as I was trading in my car and the bonnet chips needed treating. Really good YouTube video and clear instructions with nice cylinder tub to keep it together. Worked really well on black car.
