United States | 16 February 2024There we so many problems! My policy was supposed to begin 2/1 but funds were never withdrawn from my acct. I called my agent and he said I needed to call Hanover Group directly and didn't bother to look into the matter directly. When I called Hanover Group, they could not find my policy. The Hanover agent did some investigating and discovered it was still in quote mode and had not been converted to a policy by my agent. Hanover and I both called my agent with no response to see if he could do it right then. After 3 days of waiting for a return phone call (and got none) I called and left a message for my Insureon agent's supervisor. I finally got a call back and he stated he just converted the quote to a policy. Hanover Group withdrew funds but 1 week later I received an email saying the payment was returned. I called Hanover Group again, and same as before they could not find the policy because it had not been paid for. After exploration, the final digit of my acct number had been dropped so it was not a valid acct from which they could pull funds from. Again, I had to call my Insureon agent to red-do the funds transfer form. I know they are having issues with DocuSign because it only let me check the radio button for credit card but wanted bank acct information. I let him know and I re-completed the form yet again. After 4 weeks of back and forth it appears the policy finally went through. If a customer calls with a problem don't pass them off to someone else unless you have completely investigated the issue and know it's not in your hands. This was very time consuming and very frustrating.

United States | 15 February 2024The initial policy wasn't properly written. Every year our insurance policy is increased without our knowledge and then we're notified to complete an annual audit. At no time did we receive any official mail or other means of contact until we notice an increase. This has been a horrible experience overall and something we have never experienced while operating other businesses.
