We did a lot of research and ended up deciding on the MHI Bronte 7.1KW reverse cycle from Oz Air. We got it for our lounge room, but we can also open up doors to the kitchen and bedrooms and so far its doing a good job of heating/cooling the areas of the house we section off (its only Spring). We're really pleased with our purchase and install (done by Elec Group) a few days after. The unit looks stylish, blends in and is very quiet (even peaceful) and far more efficient than our previous electric heaters. It is highly programmable (details in manual).We're also looking forward to running it off solar during the day. If going for the local pick up option, check the box dimensions will fit in the car (was a cramped ride in my small car) and we were advised the condenser should be kept upright at least a few hours before install. We still have some time before summer to close any drafts and we'll use strategically placed fans if we need to direct the cool air to particularly remote or hard to reach rooms. The unit was available for pick up a couple of days after ordering. We haven't had the unit long enough to clean it yet so can't comment on that. Overall, we're very satisfied with the unit so far and reckon we saved at least $200 on our next best quote by avoiding a regular outlet.

We have not put up the air con yet but the delivery was quick and on time and the price was cheaper than other places we checked.

Parcel arrived super quick, no hassles. I'm a tenant and recently had a plumber come look at the heating duct baffle as existing was falling apart and i do wash every so often due to being OCD & an asthmatic to then proceed to tell me that baffle isn't really required. Well I beg to differ therefore purchased it myself. Not hard to do. Cheers 👍🙂

Everything was very good except I was told that the delivery date would be between 12th to 16th of May. I booked my installer for 8am on the 16th (guessing that they (2 units) would have been there by then) and had to cancel my installer on the Friday because I couldn't find out if it would arrive on the 16th. Anyway, it did arrive at ~8.40am on the 16th, so my gamble didn't pay off, but it wasn't an issue, I just got my installer to come back on another day. I shouldn't have booked the tradesman so close to the limit of the expected delivery day.

With recent rains threatening damp and mould to my home and me discovering I am asthmatic, I was in need of an air purifier. Of course, I wanted a good one so chose the newest model Daikin.
