Pentagon Barnsley refused to work on my van under warranty, as another Peugeot dealer had worked on it previously.

We have just bought a used Citroen c3 Aircross from the Pentagon branch in Burton-on-Trent. The buying experience was first class up to the point of delivery of the car to our home address. Two issues were immediately raised with the sales person. The car had acquired a badly kerbed alloy wheel and had covered double the mileage it should have done between Burton and our home in Worcestershire. He never got back to us on this despite saying he would following an investigation. Spoilt what should have been a 5 star review.

Recently took my car in for a service and the staff were brilliant, in particular Fran on the service desk couldn’t have been any better. My car took longer than expected and I was waiting with my newborn but she kept me informed the whole time and even brought my car round to the door to make it easier for me. I was disappointed my car took so long and hadn’t even been washed and vacuumed like they had offered but I couldn’t wait any longer as had to pick my eldest up from school. Fran was really apologetic about it.

Had an appointment for 11am with Rob for the VIP event after waiting for 45 minutes ended up having to see someone in Renault. He was as helpful as he could be but didn’t deal with the Vauxhall side. No phone call or apology from Rob! Always been a Vauxhall customer however having bought a new Mokka and Grandland from this dealership in the past which both had problems even to the extent the wrong model of Mokka was ordered and again no apology and then this today I think I’ll be taking my custom elsewhere!

Extremely Disappointing Experience – Avoid This Place! I wouldn't even give them one star if that were an option, but unfortunately, it's not. Please avoid this place at all costs! I purchased a 2020(SEAT) car from Pentagon in December 2023. In May 2024, just 5.5 months later, I had to replace the battery. Pentagon claimed it was my fault and I had to pay for the replacement. Fast forward to December 2024, when I brought the car in for routine maintenance. Everything seemed fine until just 3 weeks later, when the engine light came on. I called Pentagon to ask how this could happen, especially considering that I had driven less than 500 miles during that time. Their response? "We can't know, but we can check in February if you want." I questioned whether they had properly checked the car during the routine maintenance, and their answer was essentially the same: "We can check in February, and until then, you’ll have to drive with the engine light on." We were very happy with our Seat in my country, and that’s why we chose to buy from Pentagon. However, after this experience, this was the first—and last—time I’ll ever purchase anything from them.

Visited Kia Pentagon in December 2024 to report a faulty hand break (3rd time in 4 years) and was told appointment would be mid January and if I wanted a loan vehicle it would be February, explained last 2 times a hire car was arranged because off parts delay. Dropped car off on the Tuesday and received a call sating I had a leaking tyre and the cost is £24 to repair and my part had been ordered and job done on Wednesday. Wednesday contacted serv6to be told part not turned up so it would be Thursday. Thursday rang service to be told no part again,so asked for a more vehicle told i did not qualify and could call and collect my car as long as I signed a disclaimer,as I have no hand break,so agreed as needed transport that weekend ,arrived 30 minutes later to be told. A hire car han been arranged and to go home and wait for a phone call. No call Thursday and no car, contacted service on Friday to be told car was ordered and it was with head office and to wait for the phone call , Friday teatime rand only got answer machine so I went to a local hire company and paid £240 for the weekend car hire. Monday phoned service spoke to someone else and they looked into the hire order and a missing code on the order was the reason no hire car, code added and told to wait again for a call, received a call and car was dropped off Tuesday morning. Following Friday my car was repaired and collected. No phone calls with updates, or replies to messages left.drove car with no hand break December to January but wanted Disclaimer for not having part to repair the car. MONDAY Received a call asking me rate the service between 0 and 10 I said 4 and was told a manager would contact me to discuss my problems, ges what no call. Ps Don't ask me about the sales sarga for a new car .

Booked in for service and asked them to try and find out why there was a small coolant leak on my Ford Ranger. They said it would be £120 to diagnose the coolant leak and to drop the vehicle off with them on the morning of 27th Jan. I did so and then went to get the train home. Before I even got home they were on the phone saying they did a pressure test, there was a leak and they needed another £300+ to keep looking for the reason. I felt like a bit of a scam victim where the scammer keeps asking for more and more money. I was appalled and went straight back to pick the vehicle up. Wish i’d never gone here. £120 for nothing

I contacted Pentagon Vauxhall at Burton about a car I’d seen advertised. I reserved it online on Friday evening with the intent of going to see it on Saturday afternoon. Before I even got there, I received a phone call from Jade, who wanted to introduce herself before meeting me in person later. Jade then sent me a detailed video of the car I was interested in so I could view it before going. Upon arriving, Jade was ready to meet us and took us to look at the car. As I wanted to do a part exchange it also gave her the opportunity to look around my car, too. Jade wasn’t pushy and gave us space to look around the car at our leisure. After the test drive she introduced us to her manager, Calum, who was also very personable and friendly, and we all talked through the details on both cars, including figures for a part exchange. However, because we had identified some items that needed attention, we said we would think about it over the weekend before deciding. Therefore, on Monday we returned to see Calum and did reach a deal that was acceptable to both of us. Whilst the agreed work on the car did delay the handover by a couple of days, it didn’t matter, as it showed that Calum cared about us as customers and wanted us to be happy with the work they had done. Collection day arrived on the 23rd December, and Jade sent me another detailed video of the car, outlining the work that had been done. We finalized paperwork for the exchange of both vehicles and did another once over of the car we were buying. Jade was extremely thorough with paperwork and explained on numerous occasions that Pentagon prides themselves on transparency and honesty. She was extremely clear about all the documents I was signing, and nothing was hidden in their cost structure. Jade also gave me a call when they re-opened after their Christmas break to check I was happy with the car. I’ve had nothing short of excellent service from both Jade and Calum at Pentagon Vauxhall at Burton. I would wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone looking to buy a car. For me it will be the first place I go to when next looking to change my car. Thank you, Jade, and thank you Calum, for making this such a pleasurable and stress-free experience.

Why do pentagon phone to ask for feedback on doing a job they get good money to do. What do you want. A Medel? I asked the people for feedback on my job as a customer. Nothing. Do your job well then you don’t need applause.

I had a terrible experience with Pentagon Motor Group (Nottingham Chilwell) and would not recommend them to anyone. From start to finish, their lack of professionalism and organisation was shocking. First, I scheduled a viewing for a car, informing seller at Pentagon Motor Group, that I would stop by Derby to look for another car but I would be on site around 2 to 3 pm. I drove from North London to Nottingham to view 2 cars in different dealers. On my arrival to Pentagon Motor Group, find out that the car was not ready for viewing. How can a company be so unprepared when they know a customer is coming to see a specific vehicle? It was a complete waste of my time. I decided to move forward with the purchase despite my frustration since my wife liked the car. With the seller, I repeatedly confirmed that I would make a bank transfer. Sam, the seller, was fine with that. After paying the deposit, I left thinking I had purchased the car. My wife spoke with Sam on Friday and told him we would make a bank transfer and be on site Saturday to pick up the car. Sam assured us that would be fine. After work on Friday, I made a bank transfer when I got home. When my wife went to pick up the car from North London to Nottingham on Saturday, we discovered that no one from the finance team was available to release the car after the transfer was completed. Can you imagine, that she only heard about this on Saturday after all the travel from Sam, not even a mention of the Finance team not working on Saturday before we arrived? This level of disorganisation is completely unacceptable. Their lack of communication and disregard for customer time and trust is appalling. If you value your time and want a smooth car-buying experience, stay far away from Pentagon Motor Group.

I had to bring my car in to have it's service indicator reset as it had a long life service. The initial booking with the contact centre seemed to be problematic. However when i came in and saw Saima (Sami) everything was doe immediately and it took less time than having a cup of coffee. Top marks for Sami for her welcoming smile and demeanor and the team for sorting this out so promptly.

as with most of the other reviews on here I'd stronglt advize anyone from using this company, the service you receive is terrible... I bought a new Vauxhaall Combo & it's gone into limp mode twice in 3 months but cant even take a look at it for me to let me know if it's ok to drive, desperatly need it for work, the guy behind the desk just smiled & said youre not alone, the more i begged the funnier he thought it was, so left & luckily enough I've managed to get it into Troops next week.. this guy was acutally enjoying my panick.. Never buy another Vauxhall & never, ever use Pentagon again.. terrible, terrible, terible company

My Kia ev6 was making an unusual noise so I contacted the dealership I got it from. They said I could pop it in for a health check the next day but as I live in Sheffield I opted to try Pentagon Sheffield. I had to request a time slot to take the car in but was pleased that I could take it in 3 days later. The next day I received a call from the customer service team explaining that they couldn’t see the car until 6 weeks time (11th Feb). When I queried why the booking system appeared to have available slots earlier I was told ‘the availability is the availability’. I said I couldn’t live with this and would have to find an alternative to the appointment they were offering elsewhere. ‘No worries’ was the reply. Needless to say I won’t be using Kia Sheffield for anything.
