Had a small problem with getting the order accepted but great service afterwards. Have had Barker shoes before and will be making further purchases from this firm in the not to distant future. Ordered Loake shoes online. Customer services contacted me to say they were out of stock and gave me option to cancel or find an alternative style. The shoes I orginally ordered were delivered 3 weeks early. I as very pleased with the service and the shoes

The choice of shoes and the telephone help I receved in selecting my purchase was very good . however as i live some distance from the shop I decided to have them delivered. Unlike other online shops that put the shoe box in an outer box for protection they just wrapped it in brown paper. The box was wrecked when it arrived and the shoes would also have been damaged if the " object" that punctured the box had not struck the sole of the boot. The worst part was the reaction when I complained . I asked for a replacement box and was told it was impossible as they were short of boxes themselves. What a pity to spoil an otherwise good shopping experience.

I ordered a pair of Alfred Sargent boots. They were sold out and there were no more in stock at the factory. Even though the time it took for me to get them was very long I am very pleased with the way they handled the order. They offered me discounts and extra gifts without me asking. Will definitly buy again!

We ordered shoes that were about a half size too big. We called the company in the UK and they not only suggested we return the shoes for the right size, but they personally e-mailed me to let me know when the shoes we returned got there and then they let us know when the new pair shipped. I would definitely do business with them again. The shoes themselves are excellent quality as well. We were extremely pleased with this whole experience.
