Good price for what I got, but I’m still waiting on my package nearly 2 weeks after ordering (3rd of January) cos the postal service said they didn’t receive the package from them upon pickup until a week after I ordered despite CeX saying they had dispatched it 1 day after I ordered (4th of January)

Bought an internal ssd for my ps5, it arrived really really quickly(ordered 21st arrived 23rd). It’s been installed now for about two weeks and seems to be working perfectly.

Console was filthy, not even dist wiped off. Cables were off a sky box and the power was covered in adhesive. No cable with controller. One game will not function as scratched. Took ages to come. Very disappointed overall.

I was sent the wrong game but they got back to me very quickly and I received a full refund within a week or so

It took over a week to arrive and I had to contact customer service to get tracking. It arrived locked with a passcode so I can’t use it. The worst customer service from store that despatched.

I've had a string of incredibly frustrating experiences with CEX over the past year, to the point where I'll never shop with them again. It seems like every purchase has been plagued with problems: Phantom Stock: They constantly advertise items they don't actually have. I've wasted weeks waiting for laptops that never materialized, only to be told they couldn't source them. What's the point of having a website if it doesn't show accurate stock? Unusable Products: The laptop I eventually did receive was locked to a company account! Clearly, CEX hadn't even bothered to check it before selling it. This meant another wasted trip to return it and start the search again. Empty Boxes: Ordered headphones? Prepare to receive an empty box. Seriously. Non-Existent Stock (Again!): Tried to buy an Oculus Quest and guess what? Same story as the laptops - advertised but unavailable. It's like they're running a lucky dip instead of a retail business. The only positive is that they do accept returns (eventually), but even that is a drawn-out process. Their customer service is incredibly slow, taking a minimum of 24 hours to respond to each message. For a relatively small chain in Ireland, this is ridiculous. Save yourself the hassle and shop elsewhere. CEX is simply not worth the stress and wasted time.

Game arrived and is fully functional however there is notable damage to the exterior of the cartridge that was not disclosed. It does not feel great paying full price for a damaged item even if the damage is to just the games cover and not its functionality.

A couple of dvd discs were in an awful state . Cracked & scratched so I couldn’t watch much of it . Unimpressed that they clearly weren’t checked before dispatch!
