Ireland | 10 January 2025I bought an Apple wireless keyboard online from Cex. When it arrived I couldn’t open the battery compartment, it was stuck and some white residue around it like dried glue. I brought it back to my local Cex shop for a refund. I’m disappointed that a quick and very basic quality check was not made on this device, leaving out testing that it was in working order before selling. I’m presuming Cex paid someone for this used keyboard also.

Ireland | 10 January 2025Worst experience ever. Ordered an Xbox x white on Friday the 3rd. Online shop said one in stock. Dispatch conformation email on the 5th. Since then the track in number is not giving any info and An Post confined there is no records in their system. No help from CEX support. Order was likely booked with An Post automatically but a mistake in the stock availability as the rider was never given for delivery. 5 days now and nobody reach out to me with any alternative or help. UPDATE: I reached out multiple times to CEX support and now I’m told here I never did. That is a shame.

Ireland | 10 January 2025Purchased a switch game online, reserved at Newbridge for collection. I got an email about an hour later that it was ready for collection and would be kept for 48 hours. Game was perfect, getting great gameplay out of it. No issues, only negative would be that for second hand game it was still nearly full price, but it was my choice to pay the price and enjoy the game.

Ireland | 10 January 2025Good range of games, my kids have a PS4 and I'm finding it harder to get games for it. My son asked for Minecraft legends and the Ninjago game for Xmas. The minecraft game worked perfectly, ninjago won't work at all. As it was bought by santa, this caused a bit of upset xmas morning. I haven't got around to returning it yet to a shop as we don't live that close to one. Assuming it wont be an issue to return though.Prices were reasonable postage time very fast. Would give five stars if both games worked, but I guess that's the excitement of buying 2nd hand😂

Ireland | 10 January 2025The game was delivered fast and both game & case were in good condition. It was an older game not easily got elsewhere so was delighted with the service. Only negative would be that games are pricey enough for a 2nd hand game but that's not unusual for Nintendo games...they do to tend to hold their value on the 2nd hand market.
