Was good to get a thorough breakdown of my health and fitness. I did have to wait a while to get my one on one consultation but was very please when I did get to speak to one of their representatives. I would recommend DNAFit for all who want a clearer insight into their diet and what fitness techniques are best for them as it has helped me in both fields.

Absolutely atrocious. I paid and did receive the test kit but have received no results after 2 months. I've tried to contact three times and received zero response. PLEASE do not spend your money with this company. I am now having to embark on what will no doubt be a challenging process of seeking a full refund. In the meantime, they have the audacity to bombard me with spam trying to upsell other products!!

Do not purchase anything from DNAFit. They happily took my money and failed to provide a DNA kit. I've had to communicate with customer service multiple times to get a replacement kit which also didn't arrive. I am now trying to get a refund. While the company has offered a refund, they have not processed payment and do not respond to messages. They are a nightmare to deal with and apparently have had a major data breach recently as well. You're better off just lighting $200 on fire. It will be a better use of your money and time.

DNA fit offer a number of products offering DNA analysis of dietary and/or medical, and/or fitness characteristics. I purchased the premium Circle DNA product which is DNAfit's most comprehensive offering. The reason I purchased this was primarily curiosity. In that regard it was a satisfactory purchase for me. It didn't provide any life changing insights but I wasn't expecting that. Hopefully the detail in this review will help you decide whether it will be a useful purchase for you. The Circle DNA option costs about £300 depending on what offers are current. This is not a trivial amount of money, but if you are only interested in a fitness analysis for example cheaper less comprehensive options are available. It is also a little irritating that the price goes up and down so frequently so the price you pay very much depends on when you purchase. I suggest that if you are not in a rush you monitor the website for a little to get a good deal. You will need to download the Circle DNA app to your mobile 'phone. to register the testing kit when it arrives and to access the results once the analysis is completed. At present there is no option to do this from their website. I had issues with the app and I have posted a separate review covering this. What you get: You will receive a testing kit in the post. This consists of a swab, tube for the sample and packaging to return the sample for analysis. This all comes in a very swish box, a little like the sort of box you get with a top of the range mobile 'phone. I found the packaging a bit over the top for my taste, and made me wonder how much of my fee was going on marketing and posh packaging. The instructions for taking the sample were clear and the process straight forward. The results: It takes about 6 weeks to process the sample once it has been returned to DNAFit. You can check progress on the Circle DNA app. The results are presented in the app under eight broad headings: 1. Diet and Lifestyle - gives insights into sensitivity to alcohol, lactate tolerance, optimal diet type 2. Talents & Sports performance - gives insights into physical type, optimal training. 3. Origins - an analysis of your ancestry in very broad world regions. If you are looking for a more precise analysis such as origins in a particular country or area of a country for ancestry results I think this is unlikely to help. For example "African" is not broken down further. 4. Genetic Blueprint - covers things like personality and behavioural traits. I'm not sure how much a DNA analysis can tell you here. I think most people have a pretty good idea anyway, and would be better off just asking their friends and families! 5. Family Planning - gives insights into what genetic conditions you may pass on to your offspring. This might provide valuable information, but if it did raise concerns for you, I think you need to seek proper medical expertise. 6. Early Detection - covers genetic predisposition to cancers, parkinsons etc. 7. Health & Disease - covers common health risks 8. Medicine - covers which medicines may be more or less effective for you. The app contains a lot of information in most of these areas, although I think the text is just picked off the shelf depending on your result in a particular area. I suspect nothing is written specifically for you as an individual. However the information is very comprehensive. Your main difficulty will be trying to utilise such a large volume of information. 'Phone consultations: The Circle DNA package includes two 30 minute 'phone consultations. These are for Health and Genetic counselling. I've only had the health session so far, and the person I spoke to seemed knowledgable and provided useful suggestions for training and diet. I believe you can have further telephone sessions at extra cost if you require. Conclusion: This is a very comprehensive package. Deciding if it is for you is not straight forward - it isn't like buying a new kettle! I learned nothing life changing (I wasn't expecting this), but there were a few surprises. I would suggest you think carefully about what you want to get out of this and what your expectations are before you purchase. It is also no substitute for proper medical counselling from your doctor or medical advisors. Given those caveats I would conclude that DNA fit provides a good comprehensive service.

OMG this is a game changer!!!! If anyone was jumping from one diet to another and couldn't stick to any "popular-must-do" diets - this test could give you an answer. I never could stick to low carb or high carb diet even though everyone was telling me it MUST work. DNAFIT gave me an answer what should I eat, what to avoid and how to balance everything. Now it makes so much sense how I respond to certain foods or type of training. DNAFIT created special meal and training plan to achieve my goal, I'm so happy and I tell everyone to try it! Its relatively cheap and can save you so much time!

Excellent and professional service The analysis was extremely comprehensive and useful. I also have a follow-up call with one of the staff and this really helped me to figure out how to work with the results.

I used my 23 & Me data to obtain my DNAFit genetic profile and dietary recommendations. Submission was easy but the data analysis is clearly lacking and the dietary selection process is cumbersome (requires individual selection versus a single page checkbox or other multiselect method). In the end the dietary recomendation appeared to be a cut and paste from the USDA recommended diet. It is common knowledge that the USFDA dietary recommendations are seriously flawed and based on the financial machinations of US Food Industry interests and the marketing manuplations ala Edward Bernase. IMHO this is a genetic data harvesting scheme. Their spelling of Celiac (coeliac) is indicative of the faux expertise and quality of their organization. I suggest their lack of quality assurance in a simple area indicates a general lack of quality assurance in the important area; e.g. dietary recommendations.

I ordered Premium Circle DNA through DNAFit website and they also gave me an option to buy a tailored cookbook which I did. I received my DNA report on the 28th of August however the cookbook never arrived. I followed up with the customer support team multiple times and at first I was led to believe that books are printed in bulk and I needed to wait. I waited 2 month, followed up again only to be told after 1 week that Circle DNA does not support the cookbook option. So I was never eligible to get the book, however DNAFit was happy to charge me for the book that they never even planned on providing to me. Customer service was not even apologetic for leading me on for all this time and did not even mention that they plan to refund me. Very disappointed! Terrible customer service. You can not charge people for the cookbook and then just hope they would forget about it and never ask for the money back. Moreover I would have not chosen Circle DNA if I knew that the cookbook would not be provided. I hope I can at least get my money back for the book. I just cannot believe that the company like this can just charge for the book they never intended to provide! Update: I was contacted by Jared from DNAFit after posting this review and he was very apologetic and instantly issued a refund and offered an alternative to the cookbook. Now, this is exactly the customer service I expected from such a forward thinking company. I suppose the customer service person I dealt with previously was not as experienced as Jared. Given that they rectified their mistake instantly and offered me an alternative, I have updated the review to 4 stars as the DNA reports themselves were great, very informative and did reflect a lot of things that were easy to implement in my lifestyle. The half an hour consultation was also very helpful. I am not giving 5 stars only because it took customer service team 2 months and me writing a review on trustpilot to rectify the mistake. Overall, quality of reports deserve 5 stars.

There were some technical issues when I purchased the Diet link nevertheless I was fairly compensated for this. The data is very intersting and gives an indication as to how you can improve your health. My report covered most areas but a few were missing; I think this is becasue of the compatibilty with MyHeritage's raw data. However, you do have the option of purchasing the full data on their website.

The information provided by my DNA test was very inciteful and does help you to gain better results from training. For me the information alone was work the price of the test, if you are willing to put the effort in and incorporate this with your fitness routine it will make a big difference. A personal trainer or nutritionist can tell you generic advice on what to eat but this test will give you real information on what will work better for you as an individual.

The process was really easy and informative. The reports that were generated from the results of the DNA test were really interesting and gave an in-depth review. The 30 minute consultation after the results was really useful as we discussed elements of the report that I wanted further information on. Overall a great experience and will definitely recommend to others.

I found the test to be very useful. It confirmed some things I had always suspected and some things I wasn't aware of at all. The service was very fast and the results report was very detailed and I still refer to it today even though the test was done months ago. I would definitely recommend DNAfit

Really useful and comprehensive information about how my body works and how best to look after it. I have changed quite a few things and found I'm definitely seeing faster progress in my fitness goals as a result. The recipes are an added bonus, and the site is really easy to use if you want to keep going back to your results.

Paid to have my ancestry DNA analysed and it came back with in 5 minutes presenting what was very basic information. Don't eat refined carbs, don't drink too much, give proper time to recover after hard exercise. Literally things that anyone could tell you, almost nothing seemingly specific to my personal health. Also please get someone to spell check your website, full of spelling and grammatical errors! Wish I had noticed before I purchased... Overall a very poor experience, feel ripped off for such little help. Don't buy into it people, if you have genuine concerns for your health/lifestyle/fitness go speak to a doctor, or a qualified nutritionist/personal trainer.
