Word remit is absolutely awful. Wait time are really long and they don’t seem to care, after waiting 80 minutes nothing was resolved. And this was after previous attempts of reaching out to them. A students nightmare.

I transferred money on Monday 10/02/2025 to brother who in Kenya. Unfortunately, the money was not received till now. I tried to chat with online agent (her name is LIZ) and he didn't help me to the point that she locked the chat.

Customer Number WR369345 Transaction number 405608276 Date 3 February 2025. I got World Remit notification that funds have arrived. By 13 February funds have not been received. I tried the 24/7 helpline, no response. Tried the phone, number not working. Went to their website as they advised another person on trustpilot - nothing there. No other way to contact World Remit. I have used World Remit for several years. I never had this experience. I didn’t know it is so hard to contact them.

The fees are suddenly quite expensive. It used to be around CAD6.00. Now, it has become CAD 41.00+

I am trying to contact the company to report a fraudulent transaction, but it is impossible to find an email or call them unless you are already a customer. The only email address I could find was staysafe is not working. How is this possible? This is extremely poor service for everyone.
