We love everything about Coat paints. The quality is amazing, coverage is fantastic and the customer service is excellent. We wouldn’t use any other paint.

This is the only paint my husband likes using now ! It’s normally one cost does it ! And the shades of colour paint is so good …. Spoilt for choice …. Customer service is pretty good , I run out of paint got in touch and it was there next day ….. do like this company!

Just finished our second project using Coat Paint. Or chosen colour was Yard Party which is the most gorgeous sage green. Pigments are beautiful, coverage is fantastic and so easy to use. The paint is not cheap but you definitely get what you pay for. We would 100% recommend and are now planning our third project…using Coat Paint of course!

Delivered so quickly - and such a deep beautiful colour (we went for a North Sea blue called All Inclusive for our hall and stairs). One coat was really enough, but we went for a second to further intensify the shade. Took us just two half-days.

I've just used COAT to update our living room and I love it ❤️ this is our second home and the first time I've used COAT. It's much easier to use than cheaper paints like Dulux or Valspar and looks stunning, it went further than I expected too. Glad I found my new favourite paint brand 😊

My first review on Trustpilot. Absolutely love the colour selection COAT paints have to offer and I like the fact that they are limited. You don’t end up being overwhelmed with too much choice. I bought Brewer and every single person including the broadband engineer has given their compliments. I know it’s more pricier than other standard brands but it’s worth it. The customer service is simply fantastic. I don’t know which Rob I spoke to but he was fantastic and very prompt with responses. I will definitely be returning to buy more paint soon! I would suggest to anyone before leaving a negative review (for any company) to contact customer service to rectify the issue first. If it doesn’t get solved or you’re not satisfied then come and have a rant on here :) Thanks again Rob!

We are experienced decorators and have used many many different brands, learnt the hard way with various things etc etc so I think this review comes from a fair place. I think the colours themselves are great but durability is poorer than poor. Chips easily, marks and dust show up really easily and that was after using Zinsser BIN primer the best there is beforehand! In the end we bought a tub of Dulux and that's done a MUCH better job if I'm honest. £130 for a pot of paint that chips when a Dulux tub for £40 has been amazing was not what we were expecting.

I was half way through ordering colour cards for a new bungalow being built when I realised they charge for postage. Considering the price of their paints l’m sure as a company they can afford to send them Free. Oh dear !!!!!!!!!

My rooms were previously very light. I wanted to go for a moody feel and the Coat’s paint has been amazing, no paint smell and applies well.I have currently used it in two rooms and will be buying more. The price can get costly but it’s worth it if you’re anything like me and don’t want to be changing wall colours frequently. I would recommend getting the swatches and trying them on your walls, have a look all day as the paint changes with different lighting. This should help make sure you have the exact colour you like throughout the day. My current favourite is hardback. Which is a brown/black. In the sun, the room is a deep chocolate and it’s warm. Towards the evening it turns black. Some blacks can feel cold and clinical. The company ‘Rob’ is lovely. Email communication is excellent. Finally, the paints are consciously made. (Read on the website.) It helps makes you feel good when you’ve sent a little too much. Hope that helps!

Fabulous paint and Fabulous company! I have been searching for a lovely deep blue for my window sils and after 3 trys of other blues I took to the Internet, I came across Coat and this gorgeous blue! Yes ots expensive but with every penny. The coverage is amazing it drys so quick!!! And ive loads left the best thing is it can't the next day. Super pleased.

Painted my son's room in The Establishment, a lovely 'grown up' blue that pairs beautifully with the white cabinetry, the oak lamp and brass switches and sockets. The paint quality is brilliant, went on really easily and covered the original mustard yellow almost completely with the first coat, just had to do the second coat for the belts and braces approach. Friendly customer service with quick delivery. The stick-on colour samples are a great idea and don't require finding, using and washing up a paint brush - genius. I'd highly recommend this company.

We've used COAT for 3 rooms of our house so far. The colours are lovely, the paint goes on beautifully and you really do only need 2 coats in most areas. Their customer service has been brilliant and I would definitely recommend them to everyone.

Really disappointed in the products I received from COAT. I bought an eggshell paint, which was intended to do part of a bannister and some skirting boards. As these had previously been painted with a glossy product I sanded the areas well before applying the paint. First and second coats both looked like a first coat so I had to apply a third before it even looked half decent. Even after that I had to go back and apply a 4th coat in some areas, which really should have been an entire 4th coat for a decent finish but I hadn't calculated for this. Not only could I not have a satisfactory finish on the bannisters but I didn't have sufficient product to finish the areas I'd intended to paint. Also the amount of time I had to spend cleaning up drips was very frustrating. Even the slightest knocks would remove painted where it had been applied. I had purchased some painting products: roller, paint tray, paint brush. I haven't tried the roller yet and probably won't based on my experiences with the brush as the quality was awful - bristles sticking out all over the place that no amount of training could fix. Constantly coming out as I painted too, which meant even more wasted time as I tried to pick these out of the paint and fix the scratches.

I was so excited to use this paint based on their values. I ordered some samples and their range of colours were great for my style. Based on their declaration on their website that their paint samples are 100% accurate to what it will look like, I ordered some paint. The paint turned out COMPLETELY different to how the sample looked so I was very disappointed based on how much money the paint cost. I decided to try again and ordered another pot of paint I had liked from their samples. Once again, this paint was a completely different colour, faced with disappointment and sent back to the drawing board. Knowing that I would not be wasting any more money on COAT paints. I emailed their customer service team Sunday evening and they responded Monday morning. Great service and have issued a full refund for the inconvenience - thank you!

Amazing shades, wonderful coverage and outstanding customer service. We used Flat matt for our walls and ceiling, and Eggshell finish for the woodwork. Very impressed with both, impressive coverage and very easy to apply. We will always use Coat Paint for our home from now on.
